The four headed back to Yogtowers. They decided not to tell anyone about the incidents at the store, so none of them worry. Some things are best kept secret. When they got to the office, they unpacked the groceries, and went to their specific offices.
Later that evening, close to midnight, Lewis and Hannah left and headed home. Both were done with any work for the day, so they decided to drive home together. They headed out towards the car and drove out of Yogtower's parking lot after saying goodbye.
"What should we have for dinner tonight?" Hannah asked, trying to spark up a conversation.
"I don't know," Lewis said. "I'm not that hungry."
"You haven't been hungry the past few days," Hannah said. It was true; ever since the incident a couple days ago Lewis or Paul have been eating much. They mostly drank liquids, but in Paul's case, it was more in the meat section.
"Neither have Paul," Lewis objected.
"Correction: He's actually eaten something besides water or tea," Hannah said. "I'm making you something when we get home."
"Fine," Lewis said in defeat, but could'nt help the smirk that crawled on his face.
The car pulled into the driveway of their apartment, and they headed inside. They turned on the lights and let the heat of the apartment warm them.
"So, any ideas for a dinner?" Hannah asked, walking into the kitchen.
"I don't know," Lewis said, leaning against the kitchen door frame.
"Thanks for your help," Hannah said sarcastically, glaring at him playfully.
"How about some tea, then?"
"Think bigger next time, but okay."
"Whatever," Lewis smiled, rolling his eyes. He was about to walk into the kitchen to help, when there was a knocking sound. He and Hannah looked at each other, before Lewis walked out to the front door.
He opened the door with a questioning look on his face, and was slightly startled to see someone familiar at his door. It took a minute to put a name to a face, and then his own face lit up.
"Lucas?" Lewis suggested.
"The one and only," Lucas said.
Lewis let him inside and lead him towards the kitchen. Hannah was waiting with a confused look on her face.
"Hannah, this is Lucas," Lewis said. "The man I told you and the others about."
"Really?" Hannah asked. "Well, nice to meet you Lucas."
"Nice to meet you, too," Lucas said.
"I'll go finish making the tea," Hannah said, a slight frown on her face. "You guys go into the living room. You want some tea, Lucas?"
"Sure," Lucas said.
"You sure?" Lewis asked Hannah.
"Yeah," Hannah said, giving a small smile. "I'm sure." In truth, she was slightly scared of Lucas. No, not scared; suspicious. She could feel that something was up with him. And she didn't like it.
Hannah headed into the kitchen while the other two to the living room. They sat down on the couch and started to talk.
"Where have you been these past few days?" Lewis asked.
"Just out and about. I saw your apartment and thought I'd stop by. See how you were doing," Lucas said.
"Thanks for helping me, by the way."
