The last thing both Lucas said to the other was, "Don't tell anyone. It'll be for your own good. And their's." Lewis hadn't responded, just stayed in stunned silent. It took a few minutes for him to bring up his courage to go back to the bedroom, but when he laid down, he was out like a lightbulb.

The night passed quickly. By morning he was back to his normal features, no fangs or claws or glowing eyes. He acted awkward at first, deciding if he should tell Hannah about the encounter, and even trying to decide if it was real.

"You okay?" Hannah had asked that morning.

"Yeah," He smiled. "Just had.... ah.... nightmare, I guess."

"Aw," Hannah said. "Do you want to talk about it?"

"...Not really."

Hannah left it at that, but still gave him a kiss on the cheek. He smiled and gave a quick one on her lips. She smiled and hugged him.

They headed to the office afterwards, picking up Simon in the process. They pulled into the Yogtower parking lot, and ran into Paul and Chris along the way. Paul seemed a little distant and still had the bandage on his hand. They said their greetings as they passed each other, then headed into their offices.

"How's your hand, Sjin?" Lewis asked, walking beside said man.

"Oh," Paul said, looking down at his hand. "It's fine, actually. Hadn't hurt in a while."

"That's good," Lewis said, then turned his head to look into an office. Paul also turned his head, then something else caught his eye.

"Hey, what happened to your neck?" Paul asked, eyeing two small red bumps on the other's neck.

"Huh?" Lewis puts a hand on the two bumps, then nods. "Yeah, that happened that night. I guess their mosquito bites." He lied. He knew where the bumps had come from but he was told not to tell. Very sternly, he might add.

"Weird," Paul said, and then heard something in his ears. He was told by Dave that it was a side effect, adn other stuff will happen until his body had adapted to the changes. Super hearing was one of them. What he heard right now was something like a drumming. He turned his head to see Kim walking out of her office, and as she walked past him, the drumming noise got louder, and then faded as she walked away.

He heard the same noise, and some others, like people talking through a mega phone, echo in his ears. The drumming noise - now identified as a heart beat - came from every office, along with the amplified voices.

The thing that scared him the most was that - although he was standing right next to him - no drumming noise was coming from Lewis.

Lewis was oblivious to how the other glanced at him, then back at the offices, his ears twitching. He was too occupied the mentally list of things he needed to do that day. He needed to upload a few videos that undergo their editing stage, and then record Galacticraft with Duncan and Simon. He waved to Paul as the other turned down a corridor, looking over his shoulder to examine him. Lewis thought he saw something like suspicion creep across his eyes, but shook it away as the other turned his head.

He walked into his office and called Simon and Duncan through Skype. They answered soon after he called, and the two hopped on the Galacticraft server, where it looked like Paul had also gotten on to do his 'misson' to save Sips on Mars.

The day dragged on, and so did the cold. The tempature dropped, and a light snow drifted down across Bristol, melting with the mud that lined the streets. Although lacking in snow, the wind was blowing fiercly, wipping the light snow around in anyone's faces who went outside. It still didn't cover the ground in snow, but it was still cold to not wear anything protective.

When the time came for the Yogs to go home, the sun had dipped down the horizon, and so had the tempature. They grabbed their coats and were prepared to leave.

Paul had gotten over the super-hearing side effect, almost as suddenly as it first came. And both had gotten over their paranoia of not telling their friends about the 'visits'. They were joking and laughing, the 'visits' completely forgotten over the day's activities.

Hannah had gotten her coat from her office and opened the door slightly to test the outside air. She snapped the door shut as a freezing breeze blew into the office, chilling all but two to the bone.

"Oh, come on, guys," Lewis said. "It's not that cold out."

"Are you serious?" Simon asked, raising an eyebrow.

Hannah put her hand Lewis', then backed it away. "Your hand is freezing! What do you mean your not cold?" Lewis chuckled and shrugged.

"It really isn't that cold," Paul said, smirking. Chris raised an eyebrow and put a hand on Paul's forehead. He also snatched his hand back, but for different reasons.

"You're hot!" He exclaimed, putting his hand down to his side.

Paul fluttered his eye lashes. "Why, thank you, Sipsy!"

They all laughed, and then the group headed outside. The wind whipped across them, sending spikes of shivers up and down them.

"Wow, look at this wind!" Lewis exclaimed, holding hand over his eyes. It was hard to see the parking lot, with the wind blowing the snow around. Lewis took Hannah's and Simon's arms, and tried to lead them through the snow.

"We'll see you guys tomorrow!" Hannah yelled over the wind.

"You too!" Chris yelled back.

Before Lewis and the two he was pulling along made it to the car, something ran in front of him. Or, someone.

"Son of the devil!" The figure cried, pointing at Lewis. "We will not let you and your mutt infest us all!

Lewis recognized the figure as the old man from the store. Whatever he was talking about made no sense to him, or the other two people beside him.

The old man held up something, that wasn't at once recognizable. Then the sharpness of the wood appeared through the snow, as if the small snowflakes didn't exist. He gasped, knowing from movies and videogames that stakes are supposed to end a vampire's life. He still wasn't sure vampires existed, but if they did, he was screwed if that old 'stake to the heart' myth is true.

Something rammed into the old man, sending him to the ground. Before them was Paul, who looked just as surprised as they are. The old man sat up, rubbing a hand on his arm that was shoved, the stake a few feet away from him.

"Mutt!" The man yelled. "You evil mutt! You and your undead devil will pay for this!" He got up quickly and ran away, leaving the stake behind.

The Yogs left outside looked at each other in stunned silence. Chris ran up to them, seemingly left behind by Paul and had to run across the parking lot while watching.

"What the h*ll did he mean?" Simon asked, shocked.

"I have no idea," Hannah said, and turned to Lewis and Paul. "He was talking to you two. Do you know him?" Lewis and Paul looked at each other, before shaking his head.

"Wasn't he the old man from the store the other day?" Chris said. "He had that sun tattoo on his arm."

"Are you sure?" Simon asked.

"Pretty," Chris said.

"I think he might've mistaken us for someone else," Lewis suggested. "He couldn't have meant us. I've only seen him at the store, and we didn't even talk."

"Weird," Paul said, then shook his head. "We should go home. It's late, it's cold, and I'm tired. We'll see you guys tomorrow."

He and Chris headed towards Paul's car, and they drove back to Paul's house. Lewis, Hannah, and Simon got into Lewis' car, and they drove home.

The incident with the hold man stuck with them. He called Lewis, 'son of the devil', and Paul 'mutt'. What does that mean? It's so confusing, and Lewis actually can't wait for Lucas to show up that night.

Things need to be answered.
