[Prologue] Beginning of the End

Randy sighed, "Sorry, baby, I got stuck at the arena with Paul."

Devyn crossed her arms as she watched Randy slip his jeans on. She wanted to be angry, but she had gotten so used to it. Her tough act somehow wasn't able to stop the stray tears that slipped down her already red cheeks.

"I love you too, baby, I'll be home in a bit." He immediately ended the call, throwing his phone on the bed.

"You got stuck at the arena with my dad for the third time this week?" Devyn rolled her eyes. She was trying to keep herself calm, despite wanting to explode on him.

Randy barely glanced at her as he slipped on his t-shirt and dog tags with a small sigh, "We can't do this every time I have to go home, princess. I'm a married man, remember?"

"You're right. Then why do you keep coming back?" Devyn asked, "Why don't you stop coming back? You want me to be less emotional, but you're the one that makes me this way. You tell me lies so you could get a quick fuck. I guess I can blame myself for believing you though."

"Devyn-"

Devyn laughed, dryly, "It's alright, Orton, I knew it would be impossible from the beginning."

Ahh new story my lovelies. This is going to be something extremely different for me because I've never attempted to write a good story about any other wrestlers besides the Shield members. I really hope this turns out okay.
