Devyn watched as Randy basically dragged her through the crowded bar. She had refused to go out with his friends, preferring to stay in and study for her marketing exam. As soon as she told Randy this, he almost immediately threatened to throw her textbook from their eighth floor hotel room window. Devyn still could have refused, but considering their obvious height difference, she chose not to test him.

“If only my father knew you brought me here.” Devyn muttered. Her dad would joke around with her, but he was too strict to handle. He was extremely overprotective of her, considering she was his first born and her younger sisters were all more than a decade younger than her.

“What’s that, princess?” She rolled her eyes at Randy’s mocking tone. Devyn glanced around him as he came to a stop in front of a table of three males and a female. She felt their eyes on her as she slipped her arm out of Randy's hand.

“Finally!” John shouted out, dramatically, “We've been waiting for you for over an hour.”

Randy rolled his eyes, “Sorry. Princess’ nose was stuck in a textbook.”

“Devyn! It's great to see you again.” John sent her a bright smile. She smiled back a fake smile, that she has perfected over the years. A smile that she used around all her dad's wrestlers.

“Nae, be a doll and get me a drink, please.” Randy put on a slight pout. Renee rolled her eyes from next to her boyfriend.

“Fine.” She got up, immediately looking at Devyn with a smile, “Come, let's get you a drink.”

Devyn was about to refuse, clearly not wanting to drink tonight, but chose not to argue.

Devyn followed close behind her, clearly not liking the crowded area. She felt so out of place in her sweatshirt and jeans compared to the nice dress that Renee had on. Randy had basically dragged her out the door as soon as she agreed to go out, not letting her change.

Renee suddenly laughed, pulling her from her thoughts, “That's not the usual look he gets from women.”

“I'm sorry?”

“You're looking at Randy like you want to rip his head off and I find it hilarious.” Renee smiled as she leaned against the bar.

“He's extremely childish and annoying, of course I want to rip his head off.” Devyn said, seriously.

Renee laughed, “Oh my god, you're great. Nothing as your dad describes you.”

Devyn knew that her dad would always talk about her to anyone that would listen. He was proud of her, but he would never mention the slight attitude and over dramatization that she had in her. Everyone would think that she was a perfect little angel until she opened her mouth and talked. She has never gotten told that she was better than her dad described her.
