Hermione's POV
"Run" I heard someone say behind me, "Run, Run till you can't go farther. That's where I'll find you. I'll track you to the end of time, and just when you think you've escaped I'll be right behind you." I was in a dark Lantern lit ally. Everything looked so old and antique. The pavement was made of cobblestone. The buildings, made of wood. The streets lined with street lights which were lit by candles. The voice sounded as if it were coming closer to me. "Clip, clop, clip, clop This voice is sound so familiar. But who? Pulling my wand out 'Lumos' a bright light came out the tip of my wand. Searching around I was trying to find this person. The steps were getting louder, and closer. The hairs on my neck were standing on edge. So suddenly the foot steps just stopped. Looking left to right squinting I tried to look into the alley ways. I could see no one. Frightened I started to back up. I stepped on something. Turning around slowly I saw "Ron? What are you doing? Where are we?" He wouldn't answer. I started to back away, I feared for my life. He mumbled something. There was a green flash. And then. . . nothing
I woke up drenched in sweat, while screaming, and crying. Draco ran into my room armed with his wand. He looked ready to jinx anyone that was there. "Hermione are you okay? What happened? Are you hurt?"
"No," I said. "just had had a nightmare that's all."
"Oh, is that all? I thought tha-" I was starting to sob. "No, no, Hermione don't cry. Do you want to talk about what happened?"
"Sure," he came and sat down on the bed with me. "Well, I was in an old scenery and I was being cased, and run down by Ron" I started to cry a little more. I tried to wipe away my tears but they just kept coming. "An - and - and he - he preformed the killing curse on me. And I couldn't do anything I just. . . I-I"
"Just lay back down and go to sleep. Noting is going to happen to you."
"You promise?"
"I promise, I'll watch over you. Now just fall asleep" He wiped away my tears, and with them my feelings of fear. I layed back down and so did he, he pulled the comforter over the both of us and pulled me in close to him. His arms wrapped around me. 'Wow. . . he has changed a lot since we graduated from Hogwarts .'
I fell asleep my last thoughts of him.
Draco's POV

I woke up to the sound of someone screaming. 'Hermione' I imedantly thought. I armed myself with my wand and ran into her room. I was ready to jinx anyone who was there. "Hermione are you okay? What happened? Are you hurt?" I was so worried
"No," she said. "just had had a nightmare that's all."
"Oh, is that all? I thought tha-" she started to sobbing. "No, no, Hermione don't cry. If you want we can talk about what happened?"
"Sure," she eventually said. So I decided to go over and sit next to her on the bed. "Well, I was in an old scenery and I was being cased, and run down by Ron" She started to cry a little more. She was just wiping the tears from her eyes but they just kept rolling down her checks. "An - and - and he - he preformed the killing curse on me. And I couldn't do anything I just. . . I-I" Oh. . . this sounds dreadful. I can't imagine what she went through during the war seeing her best friend carried to the castle dead in the bloody scum Hagrid's arms. She looked so stressed I didn't know what to do. She just looked scared to fall back to sleep. "Just lay back down and go to sleep. Noting is going to happen to you."
"You promise?"
"I promise, I'll watch over you. Now just fall asleep" I wiped away her tears, and I looked into her eyes and everything just seemed to fall away. That look in her eyes of fear and pain went away. As did everything else. I layed back down with her. And as I pull the blanket over the both of us I pulled her in to me to give her a slight sense of relaxation. And soon enough, she was fast asleep. As was I
Hi guys sorry for such a long wait, and for the short chapter only 800 or so words, but that's alright I just hope you all enjoyed it.
