"Hauu~!" (Y/n) whined as she leaned toward Hau.

"What (Y/n)?" Hau said a bit coldly avoiding eye contact with her.

"You said if whoever won would treat the other person~. And I won! So come on!" (Y/n) declared grabbing Hau's hand who then proceeded to drag him, much to his protests. "If there is one thing that pleases you it's malasadas! And since I've never tried one before you will buy me one!!" She said continuing to pull the boy through the city.

His face lightened up slightly then frowned again, "Let me go (Y/n)." He said simply.

"No!"

"Yes!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"No!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

...

"God dammit Hau! Why must you always be so cold to me!" He rose a brow, 'She wasn't talking about just now is she...'

"No I am not." She replied when Hau realized he said that out loud.  "I'm trying to be your friend but you always seem to reject me by not even saying it!"

Hau was taken aback from her outburst. "Whatever..." He mumbled that just slipped out of his mouth.

"Whatever!? Really that's all you say!" Her cheeks were red from her anger.

"Well what do you want me to say?!" He snapped making her flinch slightly.

"Maybe an apology!? How can you be so cold to me!? When it comes to everyone else you seem so nice and calm! But with me, it seems like you can hardly bare hearing me speak!"

Hau instantly regrets his choice but before he can say anything, (Y/n) stomped off angrily. Hau huffed annoyed, and walked in the opposite direction.

'Damn it... She's always right...'

Hau was sitting on a rock in the middle of the beach, tossing stones into the water as he was conflicted. Little did he notice Lillie walked up behind him.

"Hau?"

"Ahh!" The boy jumped in suprise, which ended with him in the water. "Lillie?"

She nodded with an odd look making Hau confused. "I met up with (Y/n)..." Hau mentally flinched when she said that.
"She was crying alone as (S/p) tried to calm her... She told me what happened." Lillie frowned at Hau. He stood from the water and walked back to the sand with his head down.

"Hau... I know you like (Y/n)..." He looked up at her in suprise.

"N-No I don't!"

Lillie shook her head with a smile gracing her face. "Hau, I may be bad with knowing where I'm going. But I'm good at observing those around me." She explained with a small chuckle then pointed to Hau, "Plus you're blushing." She pointed out.

"I'm not! L-Lillie!" He stuttered, getting more frustrated at the blondes words.

"Okay!" Lillie waved her hands, "I'll leave you for now, just think over it, okay?"

Hau didn't respond, he continued to look down. Does he really like (Y/n)...? (A/n: Of course you do Hau >:3 ) His anger slowly began to fade, new thoughts forming with the question.

"Maybe I do..."

•°•With (Y/n) (Before Lillie talked with Hau)•°•

"God dammit Hau!" (Y/n) clenched her teeth, running in a forest. Leaning against a tree as tears fell from her face. "Why do I care so much anyway?! If he doesn't want to be my friend... so be it..." She trailed off, knowing what she said was lies. She still cares about him.

Even though he's rude back. (S/p) appeared from his/her pokeball and nudged (Y/n) in a comforting manner.

(Y/n) patted his/her head. "Thanks Girl/Boy... at least you're here to comfort me..." (S/p) nuzzled her hand affectionately in reply.

"(Y/n)? Is that you?" (Y/n) jumped and turned her head to face Lillie with her tear-stained face. Lillie tilted her head, "Have you been crying?" The alolan blonde asked her (H/c) haired friend.

Avoiding the question (Y/n) asked, "How did you find me?"

"Well... I got lost, you see..." She trailed off, stumbling with her words.

"It's fine Lillie."

"(Y/n)... you are crying arn't you?" Lillie asked (although more stated). "What happened this time between you and Hau?"

(Y/n) looked to her suprised, Lillie shrugged sheepishly. "I'm a good observer." She said.

"Yeah... well, me and Hau got into a fight... again," (Y/n) told her.

"You two need to make up, I swear!" She placed her hands on her hips. "Anyway, you two need to start getting along more since you like him so much." Lillie said, the words slipping from her mouth. She quickly covered her lips and looked to the (H/c) haired girl who was gaping at her like a magikarp out of water.

"W-What? How did you know!?" She shrieked.

"Oh I u-um... read your journal..." Lillie answered sheepishly. (Y/n) glared at her and sighed.
"I'll um leave now... See you later (y/n)..." Lillie spoke awkwardly as she stepped away slowly and started walking back.

"(S/p) what am I gonna do..." The girl whined.

(Y/n) walked down the sidewalk, after her breakdown and conversation with Lillie. She held (S/p) in her arms as she walked looking around through the windows of stores.

She looked down and kept walking, (S/p) started dazing off making he giggle quietly.

(Y/n) froze when she said a pair of feet in front of her not moving. She looked up slowly and saw Hau standing there with a closed box.

"Hau...?"

"Lillie said you were crying because of me, s-sorry." Hau stuttered as he avoided eye contact with the girl.

Her lips broke out into a smile. "Whats in the box?" He looked back to her with a grin that suprised her.

"Malasadas!" He answered, her eyes lit up making Hau internally want to fist pump in the air.

"Thanks Hau..." She smiled making a blush slowly creep up his face.

"N-No problem, here!" He took a malasada out hand quickly handed it to her.

(Y/n) giggled as she poked his cheek before accepting the treat.

'Well it's a start.' Lillie thought with a smile as her and Nebby watch the two interact from behind a few bushes.
