Cathy, Jen, & Lacey met on Facebook about a year and a half ago. In that time they became fast friends stemming from their mutual love for Norman Reedus, Sean Patrick Flanery & Charlie Hunnam. From posts and comments, to pictures and memes, originally budded their friendship. They talked on the daily, and were close, especially for friendships made on social media. They were untouchable as far as that stigma was concerned, because you have to first care for someone's opinion for it to matter.

When an opportunity arose, to win a trip to a Con, Cathy couldn't believe her ears. As she continued to drive down the road, she eventually heard the advertisement again - this time in full. Walker Stalker was putting on a contest with very appealing sounding prizes. But Cathy was only interested in that grand prize, after all she already had t-shirts, various autographs, etc. What she didn't have was a 'take your breath away', 'once in a lifetime' kind of experience.

She picked up her phone, deciding to enter. The grand prize for this contest, that had so piqued her interest, was a trip to Walker Stalker in Atlanta. It included 3 platinum VIP tickets, with all inclusive passes. An all weekend long, paid hotel stay and flight, meet and greet, free photo ops, free autographs, zombie bash party, plus more extras than she could remember. 'This would be a dream trip,' Cathy thought.

Logically, she knew that there was no way she would win. There must be thousands of people that heard about this contest and entered it already. However, her gut said 'Enter. And go hard!' So she followed the contest instructions and was able to put her name in every 12 hours for a week. Eventually Cathy had given up, the feeling of defeat washing over her with each passing day not hearing from the Comicon people.

It had been two seemingly long days, since she had last entered. Honestly, Cathy was trying to make herself forget all about it. That's when it happened. Her phone suddenly started vibrating across her kitchen table. She always thought it was the funniest thing ever. Cathy leisurely answered the phone, not recognising the number.

The call was a spinning blur. She had to sit down, barely registering the words coming out of her own mouth. Eventually she hung up, and placed her phone back on the table. That was right before she started screaming, bringing her kids from their rooms. Atalanta, her daughter was shaking her, yelling, "Mom! Mom! What's going on?!"

All Cathy could do was repeat the same two words over and over, with a dazed look in her eye, "I won." She had received that glorious phone call from Walker Stalker and it felt like a dream. She had not even heard her phone start vibrating again. The shock had not worn off and probably wouldn't for a while. Her heart was pounding hard in her chest and she could hardly breath. Atalanta was saying something and shaking her but she couldn't move or talk.
