Classes went by fairly quickly, you created songs as a group with Amy and Ethan in choir class from off the top of your head, sang Rockin Robin as a class project like it was nothing, and rocked out to Billy Joel and Elton John outside of class as much as possible. "The Longest Time" and "Crocodile Rock" were two of your absolute favorites.

Karaoke night was a few days away, Amy and You were planning on going with Ethan and Andrew. Mainly so you could try and get Ethan a girlfriend, the guy was nonstop lonely as f*ck.

(I'm so nice lol)

You grooved into choir class, apparently, your teacher had been listening to Elton John too. When you walked into the class with your friends it was the la part of Crocodile Rock, "OH MY GOD." You squealed, Amy was already dancing.

"La lalalala la lalalala la lalalala la

But the years went by and the rock just died
Suzie went and left us for some foreign guy
Long nights crying by the record machine
Dreaming of my Chevy and my old blue jeans
But they'll never kill the thrills we've got
Burning up to the Crocodile Rock
Learning fast as the weeks went past
We really thought the Crocodile Rock would last

Well Crocodile Rocking is something shocking
When your feet just can't keep still
I never knew me a better time and I guess I never will
Oh Lawdy mama those Friday nights
When Suzie wore her dresses tight
And the Crocodile Rocking was out of sight

La lalalala la lalalala la lalalala la

I remember when rock was young
Me and Suzie had so much fun
Holding hands and skimming stones
Had an old gold Chevy and a place of my own
But the biggest kick I ever got
Was doing a thing called the Crocodile Rock
While the other kids were Rocking Round the Clock
We were hopping and bopping to the Crocodile Rock

Well Crocodile Rocking is something shocking
When your feet just can't keep still
I never knew me a better time and I guess I never will
Oh Lawdy mama those Friday nights
When Suzie wore her dresses tight
And the Crocodile Rocking was out of sight

La lalalala la lalalala la lalalala la
La lalalala la lalalala la lalalala la
La lalalala la lalalala la lalalala la"

you sang, dancing around with Amy, "Okay, okay class. I've got a big announcement, you're going to learn the dances and songs to the shows you'll teach children around the world!" Mr. H announced.  The class cheered as you all sat down.

"YES," Ethan screamed. You stared at him quietly, "What, we're singing Goodnight Saigon!" Ethan whispered, almost angrily. You laughed, the girl behind you stuck her head in between you two, "That's an amazing song!" She squealed quietly, her and Ethan high fived. Andrew turned around and gave his brother a dirty look, the three of you laughed.

"Ms. Foyd, would you like to sing Goodnight Saigon for us then, with Mr. Smith of course." Mr. H smiled sweetly. The class laughed, "Selina! Ethan!" They chanted.

Ethan stood up and stretched and got up, turning and offering Selina his hand, "Shall we?" he whispered, she giggled and nodded.

"We met as soulmates
On Parris Island
We left as inmates
From an asylum
And we were sharp
As sharp as knives
And we were so gung ho to lay down our lives.

We came in spastic
Like tameless horses
We left in plastic
As numbered corpses
And we learned fast
To travel light
Our arms were heavy but our bellies were tight

We had no homefront
We had no soft soap
They sent us playboy
They gave us bob hope
We dug in deep
And shot on sight
And prayed to Jesus Christ with all of our might.

We had no cameras
To shoot the landscape
We passed the hash pipe
And played our Doors tapes
And it was dark..
So dark at night
And we held onto each other
Like brother to bother
We promised our mothers we'd write

And we would all go down together
We said we'd all go down together
Yes we would all go down together.

Remember Charlie?
Remember Baker?
They left their childhood
On every acre
And who was wrong,
And who was right?
It didn't matter in the thick of the fight

We, held the day
In the palm of our hands
They, ruled the night
And the night, seemed to last as long as six weeks
On Parris Island

We held the coastline
They held the highland
And they were sharp
As sharp as knives
They heard the hum of the mortars
They counted the rotors
And waited for us to arrive

And we would all go down together
We said we'd all go down together
Yes we would all go down together."

The pair finished and the class erupted into applause, Selina and Ethan blushed like crazy. You smiled, "I think we made a new friend," You whispered into Andrew's ear, he nodded.
