Chapter 33

Your stomach was growing bigger every week. The cravings were hard to handle. Sometimes you craved Girl Scout Cookies and sometimes you craved dirt and soap. You had gotten a small cat from the nearby animal shelter. Naming her Fuzzy. She laid on your rounded stomach since she couldn't lay on your lap anymore.

It was the week you would get to finally find out what gender your baby was. You smiled down at your stomach, your hand resting on the bump lightly. "What gender do you think they'll be?" Mark asked. "I'm not sure." You murmured. Mark absent minded-ly laid his hand on your stomach. You smiled, resting your hand on top of his.

You laid on the examine table as the nurse spread the cold jelly across your stomach. "I apologize that it's a little cold." Said the nurse. You gave her a small smile. Mark grasped your hand. The nurse put the screener over your stomach.

You shuttered slightly, looking over at the screen with a smile, "It's our baby." Mark whispered, clutching your hand.

Once your screening was over you waited in the waiting room. Listening to the waiting music, which was Answer In The Sky by Elton John.

"Fischbach?" Called a nurse. You and Mark stood up and walked into the back room with the Nurse, hand in hand.

"Mr. and Mrs. Fischbach, I'm happy to announce you're having a baby boy." Said the Nurse with a small grin. "We're having a boy! A boy!" Mark cried out happily. Mark grabbed your face and pressed your lips against his, his smile slightly interfering with the kiss.

"Thank you, Nurse!" Mark said joyfully. You nodded, too happy to speak. "Good luck on parenthood." Said the nurse cheerfully.

You headed out of the back room and headed home, "Time to make a decorate a nursery." Mark said with his large, bright grin.
