"We're only going to scout the area."
Those words were engraved on the best friends minds, "It's been a week since they left." Jadelyn Spencer Lee growled out to her best friend who was counting the weapons like she did every day ever since they were able to walk and count, "Calm down girl, you're making me jittery and you know that when I'm jittery things get out of control." Amanda Roxanne Laws told her best friend, the curly brunette groaned and kicked the wall in front of her.
Earning a small laugh as she hopped around holding her foot, "I told you not to kick the wall over a hundred times." the straight haired brunette told her friend before grabbing her gun and heading to the locker room with Jadelyn hot on her tail.
The plan was shower, get dressed, grab weapons, scout the station and then have lunch.
Quickly showering the two girls then got dressed and while Amanda attached her hostler to her leg and shorts and placing her gun there, Jadelyn atached her belt bag and placed her scissors there smiling as she now felt completely safe. "Come on time for our round." both girls said as they broke the awkward silence with warm and kind laughs.
The station was cold even for the summer time, so cold you could freeze your body there if you hadn't been used to it since you were born, walking around the gigantic room, Amanda had her gun raised and a flashlight on the other hand, the plaid shirt that was tied around her waist reassuring her that she hadnºt forgotten it, it was a reminder of her father, while Jadelyn was wearing her fathers too the same way, both wearing their mother's weeding rings around their necks and a bracelet made by each other for the other with the caps of the bullets that were fired by them when training.
"I hate that this is so quiet." Jadelyn said running a hand through her air drying hair, untangling her knots. "I know but we're used to it, anyways it's all clear let go grab something to eat I'm starving." Amanda said breaking into a beaming smile as the thought of food crossed her mind and made her stomach rumble along withJadelyn's.
"You don't need to tell me twice..." Jadelyn said and took off running to the cafeteria, "I give them a week to return, if they don't we are going to search for them." Amanda said as if she had read the curly brunette's mind. "Yeah I miss them, they did a freat job playing both the role of mom and dad." Jadelyn said sadly while Amanda hummed her light hazel eyes shinning with worry as they filled with tears.
"But let's not dwell on that, let's see if they had any cool trucks and choose, prepare everything, pack clothes, shoes, accessories, guns and food? I mean better safe than sorry right? We don't know when we're coming back here so might as well pack everything we can." Jadelyn changed the subject knowing how the girl that has been her best friend and by her through everything in her life love above everything to have everything organized ahead of time, which unfortunately wasan't a characteristic she possessed and/or rubbed of on her, she would plan and prepare everything a day maybe two before but not like her friend who could plan things a year prior.
Smiling at the though of organizing and planning everything along with packing and closing and everything she loved a bright smile instantly etched itself on her face and she got up, her stomach now satisfied it was fed, the two throw their trash away and walk to the Police station's garage to search for trucks.
