Alright let's start the story, feel free to review if u like it ;D I do not own any of the pictures or characters in this story. The characters belongs to Tolkien and the pictures belongs to the Internet. XD

Aragorn looked up in the tree Legolas had disappeared into and slowly shook his head, grinning from ear to ear. He couldn't see much as the branches casted shadows in the sunset, covering the elf from sight.

"Legolas get down please." It wasn't a plea, it was a sarcastic command.
"If you don't I'll have to leave you here, and that would be such a shame."

He heard the elf's beautiful laugh echo between the trees before the said elf smoothly jumped down. Brego jumped slightly in surprise and the man petted his neck soothingly, whispering soft words in elvish. Legolas also petted his neck, chuckling.
"I'm sorry Brego..."

The horse kissed his cheek, his own way of showing him it was alright. Legolas laughed and gripped his bridle, lowering his head enough to give it a kiss.

Aragorn chuckled and pushed his bag higher up on his shoulder, preparing to continue riding.
"Come on now elf. We can rest when we find a camp."

Legolas smirked and mounted Arod again, who surprisingly still waited for his rider. He letted his neck gently and followed the man. They rode for another half an hour until they found a camp.

It was a small clearing. The trees created a protective barrier around them, making only small beams of the evening sun reach the grass. The grass was dry, but not too dry so it would be a fire risk and they had cover by the tree crowns in case of rain. They also had a small lake nearby so they wouldn't run out of water to boil. The horses could also drink how much they wanted to.

Aragorn swiftly dismounted and kneeled down in the soft grass. He put his bag down and took the sticks they had with them in case they wouldn't find any dry, and placed them in a square. He quickly and skilfully made up a glow with his ranger skills. He blowed gently and the fire began to grow, quickly growing big.

Legolas placed his own bag down and got their blankets, spreading his one in the grass before he threw the man his own. They sat back and enjoyed the cracking sound the fire made as it lightened up the growing darkness around them.

Looking up at the now visible stars Legolas spoke up, breaking the silence that lay over the forest.
"The stars are visible.."

Aragorn grabbed the Lembas bread from his bag.
"Yes it's very interesting."

Legolas laughed at the sarcasm and caught the bread Aragorn threw him. He looked into the fire as he ate the piece, making the flames reflect in his eyes. Aragorn had to forge himself not to stare as the perfect cheekbones as he chewed, or at how his blue eyes reflected the fire. He had never before thought of Legolas as more than a very good friend, but he had to admit the elf was beautiful. Very beautiful indeed. Shaking his head and taking a bite of the bread he tried not to think like that. He had a wife. He chewed slowly as his mind wandered.

Aragorn shook his head and grabbed his water bag from his bag, taking a mouthful. Suddenly his mouth felt dry and the bread was impossible to swallow.

Legolas himself saw in the corner of his eye how Aragorn stared at him before he caught himself in the act and looked away. As he drank the water Legolas could see his Adam's apple move as he swallowed, and Legolas noticed himself swallowing hard. He took a deep breath not to blush and forged a smile to his face. He looked up, oblivious to the reason of the mans discomfort.
