Isaac was getting himself physically and mentally prepared for moving into a new school. What was the name again? Phoenix Drop High school? O'Khasis High school??Who knows and who cares. Even though the school was a couple blocks away from his house, he never really took the time to look at it, let alone catch what the name was.
All the pink haired boy cared about was how he would fit in this new environment. He never really liked to stick out or be ignored. He just wanted attention to a small group of people he could call his friends. A group that he could trust and they could trust him. If only it worked that way back at his other school..
Never mind that. Isaac picked up his backpack and his wallet for lunch and walked out of the door. His glasses began to fog up and a cold breeze hit him in the face, making him realize it'll be a good idea to take a jacket or something warm. After doing so, he locked the door of his small one story house and started his journey to his new school.
As he neared the school, the pink haired boy began to wonder how awkward it'll be to go to a new school in the middle of the school year. It was the end of the first semester when he left his previous school. Despite that, he won't know anyone while everyone else has already fit in their friend group. Yep, things will definitely be awkward for him.
Before he knew it Isaac was at the front steps of the school. He began to shiver. The school gave off a grand feeling with its pillars, elevated ceilings, and overall large presence. Isaac jumped a foot as the loud bell rang, symbolizing that students should be on their way for first period.
He pushed up his glasses and quickly fumbled through his backpack to find his schedule. What's the first class? What's the first class?? The pink haired boy quickly skimmed through the paper to find his class. It read Room 416, Geometry. Wait a minute. How would he find his class when he doesn't even know his way around the school? Well, skipping tour night to binge watch shows was definitely a waste.
"E-excuse me?" Isaac tried to communicate with one of the students. Unfortunately they must not have heard him because they left.
"C-can anyone.." His voice trailed off as the mass group of students began to thin. Running to one group after another resulting in no answer and them leaving him in the dust. The pink haired boy felt himself hyperventilate the more he saw people left. He pushed up his slipping glasses and tried to remain calm.
"Oh no.. Oh no, oh no, oh no-"
"Watch where your going, kid." A deep voice grumbled.
"Yeah, what the hell do you think you're doing trying to mess with us?" A feminine but stern voice spoke after.
"Back off, pinky." Mocked another masculine voice.
Isaac was knocked to the ground, knocking his glasses over. Due to his extremely weak eyes, everything turned into a blur. He did not know who he bumped into but he was sure there was at least two boys and a girl. When he found his glasses, he saw a girl that he assumed was a freshman run up to him. "Oh my Irene! Are you okay? Did they hurt you?"
"I-I'm.. fine.." He scratched the back of his head. The girl was awfully tiny, chubby but in a cute way, and her hair looked very soft and silky. The worry in her eyes still held as she waited for the pink haired boy to stand up. When he stumbled to his feet, she smiled and held out her hand. "The name's Aphmau!"
"Aphmau.. huh.." He hesitantly reached out and shook it loosely. He didn't know how to reply to such an awkward name to such an awkward girl. She seemed quirky, bubbly, and a total extrovert; totally suiting her name. It was almost as if she was the main character of a high school drama show. It was weird.
"So what's your name?"
"U-uh.. it's Isaac."
"Nice to meet you!" Aphmau's bouncy tone in her voice immediately changed to an anxious tone when she heard the minute bell ring.
"Oh no! I'm sorry Isaac, but I have to make it to English. I have a test today! Cya later!"
"W-wait-" He reached out for her as she scurried off to her first class. So much for being early for class. He let out a sigh, fixed his glasses once more, and decided to find wherever the hell his geometry class would be all by himself. Going straight up to the office to ask for a map or directions was something he'd avoid. Adults in general make the pink haired boy uncomfortable for no known reason.
Isaac began his voyage through the long hallways. Honestly, they needed signs that told people how the rooms were placed. It seemed all random to him, causing him to freak out more. One good thing though was he was able to get a basic layout of the school from memory. However, he'd be 15 minutes late for class and-
"Hey it's the pink haired kid you bumped into not too long ago!"
