Author's Note:
Aah thank you for stopping by to read my book! Now, I know that I'm VERY late for this but I wanted to make a Valentine's Day special for askzane (Isaac) because he's absolutely precious and nEEDS GENE. I 11/10 ship them okay. I hope you guys like it as much as I did~|...|
Isaac walked through the empty hallways of Phoenix Drop High. He had slowly been developing his boyfriend's bad habit of ditching certain classes. Normally, he would skip the class when he was meeting up with said boyfriend but today was different. It was Valentine's Day. Okay, but seeing all of those petty girls bragging about their big ass teddy bears their partner got them was making the pink haired sophomore annoyed and slightly jealous. Why couldn't Gene get something for him? Huh??
Isaac sighed and leaned against one of the lockers. He was bored out of his mind but didn't want to go back to the hell they called 'history' or text-
The buzz of his phone interrupted the sophomore from his thoughts. Speak of the devil and the devil shall arrive. It was a text from Gene. It read, "Hey babe, I'm sorry that I didn't get you anything on Valentine's Day.. I don't even know if you like receiving presents or care so much about this holiday. I should've asked sooner.. Heh.. Anyway, if you were upset about this would you forgive me if I took you on a date tonight? Please reply as soon as you can. I love you <3"
Isaac smiled at the heartwarming message. Many of his friends worry about their relationship because Gene intimidates them. He gives off bad vibes based off of his menacingly powerful look when in reality he is really sweet. He quickly pulled up the keyboard and replied, "I think a date sounds nice! Where are we going?"
The sophomore didn't even wait for thirty seconds for a reply. "That's gonna be a secret ;)"
"Oh Irene. Don't tell me you're going to drug me to take me on this 'secret date.'"
"Where the hell did you get that idea?? I'm not mad I'm just curious."
"I heard from Sasha that you guys were brewing up something in the lab a couple days ago."
"Lol no Isaac. That was for a chemistry project. By way why would we make that at school? That's something we'd make at home."
"I assume a lot."
"Fair enough."
The pink haired boy giggled at their text conversation. His hatred toward the black haired junior had gone away. It was replaced with the thought of their date and where it will be. Maybe at the new teppanyaki restaurant by Gene's house? Or at the steakhouse by his home? Or-
"Hey kid!" Isaac jumped a foot, dropping his glasses on the ground. Oh no. It was the annoying hall monitor.
"What are you doing outside of class? You should be learning! If you don't go now I'll report you-"
"I-I'm going now.." he interrupted curtly, fumbling to pick up his glasses and put them on. As he sped walked back to his class, the sophomore was reminded of his date with Gene. He fantasized about where would it be and how it would go. Oh how he couldn't wait for the near future to come..

Gene fixed his tie and brushed his sleek, black suit. He sighed, hoping that this would impress his boyfriend. The black haired junior walked to the nearest mirror to check if his slicked back hair was okay.
"Everything should be good." He mumbled to himself. He couldn't wait for the date. He had been thinking about it ever since he sent the text message to Isaac. Speaking of which, Gene had gotten a message from him asking if he were ready. He responded, "Yes I should make it to your house in 5 minutes."
