You ran for the door. "Just in time," you thought. You reached for the handle but someone grabbed a handful of your hair, yanking you backwards and slamming you onto the table.

He took his cigarette out of his mouth, the tip of it blazing hot, and pressed in into your skin.

"Don't you ever try to leave me again!" he whispered into your. He then lifted you off of the table and threw you onto the ground. Your head hitting the ground first.

"Wake up!" (c/n) said, gently shaking you awake.

Tears seemed to be running down your face, you must have been crying in your sleep. You layer your head on his shoulder and started sobbing.

"Carter?"(sorry if your crush's name is Carter, just change it if it is) he asked. You nodded your head, clinging to his t-shirt for dear life.

"Listen to me," (c/n) said softly, tilting your head up to meet his eyes. "He's in jail now and you live with me. You're safe."

"Thank you," you whispered.

"No problem," he said, kissing the top of your head. "I would do anything for you."
