Sorry I love The Corpse Bride so I had to add this.

Hey (y/n) would you want to hang out Saturday?" (c/n) asked you as he leaned against the lockers, waiting so you can walk home together.

"Uh sure. What time?"

"I could pick you up at 12 if that fine. I was think we could get something to eat and then go to the movies," he replied.

"Sure," you said, slamming your locker shut and swinging your bag over your shoulder. "Let's go."

~time skip~

What should I wear? You thought as you riffled through your closet. Nothing fancy, it's not a date, you do this all the time.

You finally decided to throw on a nice sweater, ripped jeans, and some black converses.

You decided to put on some light makeup and leave your hair down.

You looked at your phone; 11:50. (C/n) was usually a bit early so you dashed down the stairs, grabbed your house keys and wallet, and waited in the living room for him to arrive.

The doorbell rang, leaving a shrill echo through out the house.

You unlocked the door to see (c/n) was standing in the doorway with a lopsided grin and slightly messy hair.

"Good morning," he said, looking into your eyes.

"It's the afternoon," you responded, laughing,"but good morning (c/n)."

You followed him to his somewhat battered truck and got in the passenger side.

"So where are we eating?" You asked him as you rolled the window down, letting the warm breeze blow your hair around.

"Well I first need to head into the church and give a few letters to the secretary in there and then I was thinking we could go to Five Guys if that's alright with you."

"Okay," you replied, turning up the radio slightly and drumming your hands to the beat.

(C/n) drove to the front of the church and pulled to a stop.

"You don't have to come in if you want," (c/n) said.

"No it's fine," you replied, getting out of the car.

You followed (c/n) to the front of the church and waited for him to open it, since it was his church.

He pushed open the big white doors to reveal an open and spacey room with about 15 pews going up each side of it.

"I'll be back, you can wait here if you like," he said before exited the room to go to the secretary's office.

You roamed the vast room, running your hands lightly over the window sills of the giant color stained windows before noticing an elegant grand piano in the front of the room.

You silently sauntered over to it and ran your hand across it's shiny black surface.

You looked around the room to see if anyone was there, seeing as no one was, you sat down on the plush bench and played a few notes.

You soon warmed up to its touch and played a song that you knew by heart. The melody quickly filled the room. Your hands glided across the smooth keys, which filled your excitement.

Just as you were finishing the last few measures, you failed to notice a presence behind you.

"You never told me you could play."

You turned around quickly, (c/n) was standing close behind you with his hands in his pockets.

"You never asked."

He sat down next to you and looked into your eyes.

"You play beautifully," he said softly.

"Thank you," you blushed and looked at the ground. Why were you feeling this way? He's your best friend.

He tilted your head up and made him look you in the eyes. The soft sunlight reflected off of his skin and hair, making him look warm and soft. His (c/e/c) eyes bored into yours, searching for something. But what?

He slowly leaned in and placed his lips against yours. You reluctantly pulled away from his soft lips.

"I love you."

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted in about a month but I've had a slight writers block so if anyone has any ideas, message me or leave it in the comments. And 830 reads! Thank you all!
