"I opened the Chamber of Secrets."
Draco stands, frozen. He just stares at me, his mouth agape.
"I know it's a lot to take in, and you'll probably turn us in now anyway, but you'll probably hate me now, and I just want to say-" I ramble before I'm cut off by Draco.
"I won't turn you guys in and I don't hate you." He states. There's a long, awkward silence that feel like hours, but can only be a couple of minutes long.
"I've got to go, Harry will be wondering where I went." I shuffle to the door and he nods and follows me. After checking the coast is clear, I creak the door open and walk down the hall. I walk to the Gryffindor Towers and whisper the password.
"Grindylow," The portrait swings open and I saunter in, expecting a nearly empty room. Alas, I'm disappointed as I have to fight through a crowd of first, second and third years to get to the girls dorms, only to find Ginny near a window on the west side of our Common Room. She has her head buried in something, Charms, I'm assuming. I battle through the crowd, again,and pick my way towards my redheaded bestie.
"How was your date?" She asks.
"Date?" Harry appears at my side.
"For the last time, it was not a date!" I sigh. Harry looks confused. "Ginny's been trying to set me up with someone, at first, because we were bored in Binns' lesson, and it was just the usual, Colin, Justin Finch-Fletchley, Neville. Then we got so bored it turned into Crabbe-"
"Ew!" Hermione cringes.
"-Goyle-"
Ron gags.
"-Malfoy-"
Harry shivers in disgust.
"-And finally Pansy Parkinson." I finish. They all look ghostly pale, and slowly walk away, and out of the Common Room. "Oh, I got 'em. I got 'em good!" I giggle and high-five Ginny, who's also laughing.
"That was good, I'm sure your dad would be proud!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The leaves crunch underneath my feet. I can hear the faint chanting of GO! GO! GRYFFINDOR! of Ravenclaws, Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors alike, although the boos and hiss can still be heard from the Slytherins. I run up to take my seat, standing next to Ginny.
"Took you long enough!" She remarks. I roll my eyes.
"Well, the toilets are really far away! They should probably set some up near the stadium." I shrug. She gives me a quizzical look. "You know, magically." I look out towards the pitch. Wood and Flint are just shaking hands on Madame Hooch's orders. I watch my brother fly high into the air, and Draco do the same.
A Bludger comes rounding in on Harry, probably off one of Slytherin beaters, and he just misses it by dropping. George hits it to Adrian Pucey, on the opposing side, but halfway there it shoots back at Harry's head. I gasp as once again, my older brother drops to avoid it, and the Weasley twin whacks it towards Draco. Once again, it swerves and goes directly for Harry. He zooms to the other end of the field. "What's happening, Bludgers never focus on just one person, they unseat as many people as possible!" I voice out mine, and probably Harry's, thoughts. Fortunately, Fred is waiting for the Bludger and gives it a hard hit, knocking it off course. He throws his arms in the air, but I can't hear what he's saying. It comes back around to Harry, and the Weasley twins are so close to him.
" Slytherin lead, sixty points to zero!" Lee Jorden commentates. Those brooms are definitely doing their jobs! It's started raining, and everyone else has brought umbrellas, but I left mine next to me bed. Well, underneath would be a better term. I spot a redhead trying to call a timeout and stop the mad Bludger at the same time. That must be either Fred or George. Wood must have got the idea because the ring of Madame Hooch's whistle was clear through the stormy air. Everyone lands, and people clad in silver and green start jeering towards those in red and gold. They all huddle, and the referee goes to check the Slytherins, then the Gryffindors. Seconds later, they were all in the air, but Wood must have told the twins to back off, as Harry was spiralling, zig-zagging and diving alone and away from the crazy Bludger. He hangs upside down, and the people in the Slytherin stand immediately start laughing at him. He begins heading for our goal posts, where Pucey is trying to score but suddenly turns right after the Bludger just skims past his ear. He twirls in the air and glares at Draco for making some kind of stupid remark. Harry's face goes from hatred to glee as he hovers there in midair for a second. A second too long. the Bludger smashes into his arm, which bit, I can't tell from down here, but I can tell that it's broken.
