The tugging sensation feels somewhat familiar and I stumble towards the Gryffindor Common Room. The closer I get to the Fat Lady, the more the pulling in my chest tries to escape in the opposite direction. It gets harder and harder to walk, so I give in and follow it. Soon, my legs are walking of their own accord, taking me to Moaning Myrtles' bathroom. I frown, but shrug and carry on.
"Ah, Miss Potter," A voice startles me and I force my legs to stop and see who it is.
"Professor Dumbledore!" I reply, my legs still itching to go to the bathroom.
"I assume you've just been kicked out of the hospital wing by Madame Pomfrey?"
"No, I decide not to disturb Harry."
"Ah, yes. I do hope he's doing fine?"
"Yes, absolutely fine, Madame Pomfrey fixed him in a jiffy!"
"Where are you going, Miss Potter? The Common Room's that way."
"Ye, I was just going to go to the loo before I went!" I hurry along another hallway and find myself in front of the big doors of the girls bathroom on the first floor.
"Finally, what took you so long? Tom's being impatient." Ginny exclaims.
"Ginny? I um I had a run-in with Dumbledore. Why are we here?"
"To open to Chamber!" She rolls her eyes and I pick up the book, letting the soul nestle inside me for a minute before dropping the diary.
"Open," Ginny hisses. The sinks spread out into a circle and one drops into a metal grate, just like before. We look at each other and jump into the hole that has formulated in the ground. After five minutes of endless sliding, we land on the same pile of fish bones littered on the floor. Without a word, we stand and follow the narrow, winding passageway to the large circular door, whispering the same words as last time. The metal snake slithers and the door swings wide open. Ginny and I clamber through and release the basilisk, which we lead out of the chamber, and into the bathroom, then and corridor and another until we find our victim. Colin Creevey stands at the ends of the hallway, with his camera held against his eyes. The basilisk slips into the hallway, Ginny and I flanking its sides, and Colin whizzes around, his muggle tools still covering his face.
"Cool!" He says, snapping his camera clicker, ultimately becoming petrified.
My mouth opens and a fountain of evil laugh pours out, from Merlin knows where. I grab Ginny's hand and interlace my fingers with hers, dragging her back to the Chamber of Secrets, the snake following close behind. It's all a blur as Tom Riddle congratulates us, and sets us free. We run and run, past the toilets and sinks in which Myrtle was floating in and out of. Past Colin's still body. The only thing we can hear is our footsteps pattering on the cold, stone ground.
"Ooh, look! Little girls out of bed! I might just go and find the nearest teacher!" Peeves swoops through the wall, floating in front of us. I groan and Ginny looks panicked. A pair of footsteps hit the floor behind us. "That one sounds like McGonagall! You might want to run!"
"Peeves! I'll tell the Bloody Baron you've been bullying first year girls and harassing teachers if I hear one more peep from you!" Ginny threatens. Peeves looks actually frightened! I turn my head and see a door leading to a classroom a little way ahead.
"Look!" I whisper, pointing. Ginny nods and we bolt for the door. When we get there, McGonagall's footsteps stop, but we can still see her shadow in the flickering flames of the lamps hanging on the wall. We shake the door which flies open and we rush in, closing and locking it behind us. "That was close."
"Yeah,"
"Well done for scaring Peeves with the Bloody Baron."
"Thanks." She nods. More footsteps echo in the hallway, and I quietly place a finger on my lips, signalling to my friend to be silent.
"They can't have gotten away that easily, can they Dumbledore?" The Transfiguration professor's voice rings loud and clear throughout the room.
"No, Minerva, they can't have. At least we know it can't have been Harry, Madame Pomfrey claims he's been sleeping all night!" Dumbledore says.
"He could've got one of his friends to do it!" Filch accuses.
"No, they, too, were in their beds all night, so far." McGonagall defends.
"What about his nasty sister and her friend, could they have done it?" Filch asks.
"Ah, yes. Miss Potter and Miss Weasley! Quite true, Argus, Minerva, where was Miss Weasley?" Dumbledore questions.
"Ginny? I don't know, sir, but what about Elizabeth?" She answers.
"Well, I encountered her earlier on this evening, and she was a bit jumpy, so I know she was one of the two. The only thing I can not think of is why?" The headmaster seems in deep thought, as does everyone else because no-one speaks for a few minutes.
"Surely you're not thinking what I'm thinking, Dumbledore?" McGonagall's voice is barely above a whisper.
"I'm afraid, Minerva, I am," Dumbledore spoke with great care. She gasps, and mutters something along the lines of, "Oh, no, not again!" and hurries off, as does Dumbledore and the caretaker, all in different directions. I unlock the door and poke my head around it. No-one's there, so I take a couple of steps forward and motion for Ginny to do the same.
"That was close," I tell her.
"Yeah, too close." She replies and we sprint back to the Common Room, taking twists and turns and going up some flights of stairs and back down until eventually, we reach the portrait of the Fat Lady, who's currently snoring her head off!
"Um....... Ginny, what's the password?" I pant.
"Grindylow!" She hisses at the lady. She snorts and opens her eyes just as the painting is swinging open. We run up to our dorm and I reach out for the handle, twisting it and sprinting forward at the same time. I slam into the door, probably waking up the girls, and Ginny lands right next to me. I take a step backwards and look at the blood staining the oak door. Tears well up in my eyes as I tenderly feel my broken nose.
My hand must have been sweaty and just slipped over the handle, not turning it. And because I was in such a rush, I didn't notice until I ran into the door! I stop hot tears from burning down my cheeks Myra opens the door, blurry-faced and tired, but as soon as she sees me, she becomes alert.
"Ginny, take her to Madame Pomfrey! My, do you have some explaining to do!" Myra orders, her voice a whisper, so she doesn't wake anyone else up. Ginny nods and we walk to the hospital wing.
"Oh, dear, what happened?" The nurse asks. I spot Colin laying in a bed by the far end, still lifeless, and a pit of regret seeps into my stomach.
"She -er- tripped and fell into a door." Ginny answers. Madame Pomfrey nods and sits me on a bed next to Harry. With a swish of her wand, my nose is fixed and she gives me a porcelain bowl full of water and a cloth to clean the blood away. I soak the cloth and gently dab at my face. Eventually, my face is clean and the bowl is full of red water. Madame Pomfrey hands me a pair of pyjamas and I change behind a screen like Harry did previously today. Today's gone so quickly! I climb into bed, yawning loudly, and once my head hits the pillow, I'm asleep.

Hello, my readers! Sorry about this, but I'm ill, you ladies know how it is on a full moon... I'll say no more! This is really just a filler chapter because I have some tragic stuff coming up in a couple of chapter's time so....... sit tight!
Challenge! Can you guess what sad thing is going to happen to poor Elizabeth Lily Potter? I never really intended for this part to happen, but I had the ending planned out already so I was acting on that and this came really well and quick. But I've spoken enough about this mystery and enjoy!
