Paul and I are at his place watching Home Alone, The Nightmare Before Christmas, How The Grinch Stole Christmas (the human version), Elf, and The Christmas Carol. We're cuddled up and just enjoying our time together.
Once Elf ends he starts talking.
"I got you two presents. Do you want one now and one tomorrow or both now?" He asks. You see, Paul and I give each other Christmas presents on Christmas Eve because he goes to Emily's, and Billy's while I do the same but before my dad wakes up. Paul sometimes comes to my place but usually is stuck with his dad.
"Will we be able to see each other tomorrow?" I ask.
"Yes. Emily planned it all out." He says. I chuckle at that and think.
"I don't care. Wait, why'd you get me two things?" I ask.
"Because I decided to give you it around Christmas time." He says.
"Okay. I only got you one but it cost $258, but it was worth it." I say.
"Really, Avery?" He looked at me. We agreed to not spend over $100 on presents.
"We also said only one present, so shush." I say. He rolls his eyes and pulls out a beautiful heart shaped locked that says, I love you to the moon and back!

"Thank you so much, Pauly!" I say, hugging him.
"You're welcome." He says and I hand him his present.
