Paul and I went to Emily's, Billy's, and Paul's place together. We are now at my house and are in the kitchen eating with Sue and my dad. When we finish eating Bella, Edward, Jake, and Renesmee arrive and Paul isn't quite comfortable around them yet, so we went to my room. He lays on my bed while I turn the tv on and lay beside him. He kisses my head and after the show ends he mutes the tv, stands both of us up, and kneels on one knee. "Avery Primrose Evelyn Bridget Swan, you are the love of my life. You make me happier than I've ever been, you make me want to control my anger more than anything, and you help me control it. Will you do me the honor by marrying me?" He says and asks, pulling a ring out of his pocket. "Yes!" I say, nodding my head. He stands up, puts the ring on my left hand ring finger, then pulls me into a hug and kisses me on the lips. He pulls away and I look at the ring and smile.

"One: never talk to me about the Christmas gift budget. And two: did Emily help you with that speech?" I say and ask. "Emily and Sue." He corrects me. We both laugh and when we calm down we walk down stairs. I walk to Sue and she hugs me tight. "Nice hiding it and great speech." I say. "Thank you and Emily helped." She says. I look at my dad and he looks confused. Sue and I both giggle and I go to Paul's side and he wraps his arm around my shoulders. "This doesn't look like under $100." I say. "It's a engagement ring, I can't get one under that." He says. My dads eyes widen but we continue talking to each other. "How much did it cost?" I ask. "That's a secret." He says. "Ppaaauullll!!!" I groan. "Nope. It's a secret." He says. "Were you paying all of your money for it?" I ask. "No. My dad said he's going to pitch in for the engagement ring and the wedding ring." He says. "I'm pitching in for the wedding rings too." I say. "No." He says. "Yes." I demand, sternly. He doesn't argue and we look at the others who are watching us. "Wait. You getting married?" My dad asks. "Yes." I say, simply. "Since when?" He asks. "Since ten or fifteen seconds ago." I say. Sue chuckles and my dad thinks, finally realizing what we're talking about.
