Today, Paul is with the pack doing patrol until lunch. I took two pregnancy tests and they came back positive. I had an idea so I'm putting it in action. "Kids! We're going to the store!" I yell. I hear them running and we walk out and get into my car. Brian doesn't use a car seat any more and Alexis moved into a bigger one.

"Why are we going to the store?" Alexis asks. "I need some things." I say. After a few minutes we arrive and we walk in. I get a cart and get some fruits, vegetables, wooden letters, pink icing, blue icing, and cupcake batter. Once we get home the kids watch tv and play in the living room while I make pau la little surprise. I make ten chocolate cupcakes and put pink icing on five and blue icing on the other five. I grab a box and put some letters on it and put a blue iced cupcake and a pink iced cupcake in the box and closed it. I grab a black sharpie and write his name on it and grab a big plate and put the rest of the cupcakes on it and take it to the living room and eat them with the kids.
***three hours later***
I check the time and see that it's 10:00 AM, time to make lunch. I stand up and grab the empty plate and walk to the kitchen. "Mommy, can I help?" Alexis asks. "Can I?" Brian asks, running in. "Sure. But don't touch anything sharp or hot." I say. "What that?" Alexis asks, pointing to the box. "It's for your father." I say, grabbing the box and putting it on the dining table.

I set the bowls on the table, take the box and put it in the fridge, and put the dessert in the freezer. I hear the door open and the kids run to Paul. "Shower and then we'll eat." I tell him. He runs to the shower and the kids and I go play in the living room. Paul walks in after a few minutes and we go in the kitchen and start eating. When we all finish dessert the kids run and go play and pau land I put everything away. "Oh! I have something for you." I say, taking the box out of the fridge. I hand it to him and he sets it on the counter and opens the box.

I pull away and smile. "We're having a baby." He says. "No more." I say. "Fine, fine." He says. He pulls away and runs to the living room. I walk on there and he's holding both of our giggling kids. "Y'all are getting a sibling." He says. "Really?" They ask. "Really." I say.
