Chapter 1

It's Saturday morning and alex has to be up by 5:30 so she can perform her morning ritual of jogging, she rolls over from her bed and falls to the ground with her right hand slamming the alarm clock which seemed was vibrating inside her skull. She hits it pretty hard and she dosn't really feel bad for that. she mutters "well that's what you get" as she picks herself off the ground. It's soft and fluffy because of the gray coloured rug. She looks back at the bed and sees lee still sleeping she smirks and picks up her phone and then connects it to her portable speaker, she brings it close to lee's ears then she plays a rock song, lee woke up with a look alex could only describe as the 'puzzled zombie look' alex laughed her heart out as lee picked up a pillow and threw it at her. She misses and Alex mocks her "you throw like a girl". " thats because i am a girl idiot" Alex giggles and turns around rhythmically, then she walks towards the bathroom while shaking her head to the beat of the music, lee shakes her head in amuzement and yawns. She blinks slowly and repeatedly then yawns again while saying "I'm... just gonna... 5 more minutes?" And then she's asleep again. Alex turns on the water washes her face and stares into the mirror, she whips her hair and smirks at her reflection. She loved acting crazy in the morning, you could say she's a morning person. she picks up her toothbrush, puts some paste on it and brushes her teeth. Lee gets in the bathroom just as alex was about leaving "she's ALIVE!!" alex shrieked. Then they both laughed "move aside idiot" lee says while grinning as she heads to the sink to pick up her tooth brush. Alex heads to her dresser and brought out a crop-top and skinny tight jogging outfit. She places them on the bed then she takes off her pink slightly big pjays and fluffy bunny slippers and puts on the jogging outfit, lee comes out to the bedroom and heads to the dresser, she brings out almost the same outfit as alex did. She goes to the bed side and is about to place hers as well when she saw she picked the same thing she looks at alex who already sees what has happened and says "you damn doppleganger" they both laugh again. They have always been used to laughing at each others jokes. Alex smiles and heads to her shoe closet and takes out a pair of white sneakers, lee brings out a black pair. Then she goes to the bathroom and straightens up her hair. Alex goes to her huge standing mirror, she looks at her messy hair and giggles. She puts on her sneakers, Then picks up her hair brush and straightens out her hair into a perfect ponytail. She nodds to herself in satisfaction when lee says "awww the most beautiful troll ever" alex replies "well thank you" and slightly bows then added "at least there was 'beautiful' in the sentence" lee does her evil laugh "it's time to burn some fat" alex says "as if..." lee says "wait! What's missing?" Alex cuts in. she realises that she has forgotten her headset. she goes into her study and picks it up. Then comes back to her room to get her phone, She heads to her door with lee behind her and is about to open it when her phone rings, she looks at it and her bright mood suddenly becomes pale. "Who is it?" Lee asks softly. She shows lee the name it appears as 'lyon' lee rolls her eyes, takes alex' phone and silents the call after no answer Alexs voice note says to leave a message then the person says "hi, alex its me Lyon. I don't know if you deleted my number... And I won't blame you if you did, I was foolish and didn't know what I wanted but I'm focused now please give me another chance *click* alex is very silent the whole time her eyes fixed on the door knob and her body stiff to the ground, lee snaps her out of it by touching her shoulder saying "just run it off", Alex sighs and put her headphones on, opens the door and starts jogging with lee jogging beside her. They made it a long way from thier house to the park, which was about 20 metres away then they stop for some time, inhaling and exhaling rapidly, the morning is cool and the sun is about to come out Alex sits on a bench near bye and she watches the sunrise. Lee stretches and then sits next to alex. Alex senses something wet on her cheek so she feels it. She wipes the tears away and gets up. Lee asks "are you okay?" "I think so" Alex replies they turn back and head home. They get home at about 6:30. Alex heads for the fridge and drinks some milk then she sits on the couch. Lee called to her "going to take a shower, be out in a couple of minutes" "alright" Alex says back. She stays silent. Then she recalls the phone call from earlier and the things the caller said. She places her head on her hands then moves them all the way to her neck. Her chest starts burning up as he shuts her eyes and folds her lips. She tries her best not to cry but it is futile. Warm Tears roll down her cheek like rain rolling down a window pane. She grabs a cushion and holds it tight as the tears kept coming. Then she screams "you jerk! You don't get to have me back." Then she says in disbelief "i don't love you. Not anymore". After some minutes Lee comes out and finds Alex folded up in a ball, she knows she has been crying. She helps her up and says "tears are for people who deserve to be cried for, not for zombies like ly" Alex smiles a little. She says softly " I'm going be okay. Gotta go take a shower" lee nodds as she sits on the couch and picks us the tv remote. alex heads to her room to take a shower, she comes out about 30 minutes later, then she dried up herself and and put on some clothes. She wore a crop top with some cool ripped jeans and wore her fluffy slippers. She goes to the kitchen to make breakfast but sees that Lee beat her to it. "Being nice today aren't we" alex says with a funny tone "well i cant have you putting tears in our spaghetti" Alex smirks, bites her lips and looks out the window. "Come eat idiot" lee says as she sets the spaghetti on the table. Lee puts on the tv as it could be seen clearly from the table. They watch spongebob and spaghetti almost comes out of lees nose from too much laughter. How can spongebob and mr patrick steal a whole hotel room. "Hey... almost forgot, theres a party we're invited to today" lee says "what party?" Alex asks. "Nothing big just a reunion kinda party" "okay, i guess it's alright" Alex says "oh and amy's gonna be there" lee says "oh cool" Alex says in a lowered tone. "and theres another close friend of mine who's gonna be at the party" Lee says, "hmmm, nice" alex says wondering who it is. "His name is marsh we're childhood friends" "you've never mentioned him before" alex says her face filled with curiosity. "Yeah well it was a really long time ago though we've managed to stay in touch" "alright" alex said "guess i'll meet him today".
