Harley's P.O.V.

We pulled out onto the road, the tires screaming as I watched the smoke flow behind us. Puddin' laughed and I joined in, the chorus of our laughter drowning out the revving engine. We sped through the streets, Mistah J following the directions on his phone towards the funeral.
"This is gonna be so fun, Puddin'!" I said happily, clapping my hands together. He looked over at me and smiled widely, his metal teeth glinting in the sunlight. "Oh, we're gonna put the fun, in funeral." He growled as he smiled. I started laughing again, and he started driving even faster. "And this time," he continued. "There's no Batsy to stop us.." he said menacingly. There had been A LOT of news reports of Batman's death, and the citizens of Gotham were devastated. Not to mention that there was nobody to protect them anymore. The King and Queen of Gotham City were unstoppable. "Yeah but Puddin', Robin is still out there." I said matter-of-factly, turning to face him. He rolled his eyes, and then looked at me. "That.. boy, isn't a threat. He never has been, and he never will be." He growled. I nodded, realizing that he was right. We had nothing to worry about.
After a couple more minutes of driving, we arrived at the funeral. We slowed down significantly, parking behind a building. Puddin' was the first to get out, twirling his gun in his hand, smiling widely. I stepped out, with my gun in one hand, and my bat in the other. He looked over and me and winked, sending electricity through my veins.

He would never lose his affect on me.

I blew him a kiss, and he grinned. I walked over to his side of the car, and we started walked towards the funeral. He had already told me the plan, so I knew what I needed to do. "Time to bring this little get-together back to life," Mistah J said jokingly. I smiled up at him, and he kissed me lightly on the forehead. "Let's do this Puddin'." I said as my expression turned serious, and my pace quickened. He followed, cocking his gun. Time to bring this place to the ground.

Joker's P.O.V.

She started walking faster, and I had to walk slightly faster to keep up with her. I had found the location of the funeral before they had set up the ceremony, so while Harley had been getting ready, I had set bombs throughout the area. I had the detonator in my hand, ready to light the place up. We reached the gravel parking lot that had been set aside for the ceremony, and I chuckled quietly to myself. Harley looked at me curiously. "They made this too easy." I said simply. She slightly nodded, smiling. "Ok Puddin'. I'm ready when you say the word." She whispered. I nodded my response.
"Three," I started.
"Two," So close...
"One!" She finished as she ran out from behind the car, shooting anyone she saw. I laughed as I hit the detonator once, blowing up a tree near the seating area. Harley laughed as the people started screaming, running in all directions. Her fun was just getting started. "Never run from an animal on the hunt." I growled to myself as I shot some of the people who had ran desperately for escape.
Harley began running towards them, swinging lethal blows with her bat. A man stood with his wife, frozen in terror as she laughed. She walked up to them slowly, swinging her bat. "Ya know, these gatherings are never fun. I'll just put you out of your misery," she said as she smiled. She then switched hands quickly, shooting them both in the chest. She laughed as they fell limp onto the ground, and I laughed manically. I decided to really make this interesting. "Harls! Cover your ears!" I said as I laughed. She looked over at me and nodded, placing her hands over her ears. I detonated all the bombs at once, setting fire to the trees, the grass around the ceremony setting, and blowing up most of the cars. I laughed, and Harley looked around in wonder at all the dancing flames.
Nobody had escaped, not alive at least. Harley walked back over to me, with a certain strut about her. I growled, opening my arms wide. She smiled and ran over to me, kissing me deeply as she accepted my embrace. She smiled into the kiss as I growled, dipping my forehead lower to deepen it. She pulled back smiling. The sun had barely started to set, and she stared at the pink and orange rays being cast out over the landscape. I watched with her, as the sun set.
The fires behind us warming our backs, we stood watching the rays of color slowly disappear. I wrapped my arms around her hips, pulling her in for another kiss. We stood for a while, letting the setting sun give off the perfect mood for the moment. I pulled back, and she frowned slightly. "Who wants to go dancing?" I said, smiling. Her face lit up, and she yelped happily.
Darkness had just begun to settle onto the the city streets, so the club would be thriving. I held her hand as we walked back to the car. We drove back to the house, laughing about how pathetic the people looked before they were shot, or set on fire. We eventually pulled into the driveway of the warehouse, and she ran out of the car to go get ready. I smiled as I watched her run inside, excited for our night out. This will be one she won't forget.
