Harley's P.O.V.I ran inside to get ready, leaving Mistah J in the car. This was going to be so fun!! Our own little wedding celebration. I wonder what's gonna happen? I smiled to myself as I ran up the staircase, going into our bedroom. I looked through my side of our closet, looking for the perfect dress. After looking through all the clothes, I finally found it. It was a lacy black two piece, that hugged my body perfectly.
I grabbed the dress and went into the bathroom, hanging it on the inside of the door. I wanted to do a different makeup for tonight, so I got in the shower and washed my hair and face, cleaning myself up. After a few minutes I was out, wringing out my hair and drying myself off. I stepped out of the shower, and wrapped a towel around myself. I went to grab my blow dryer, since I didn't have time to wait for my to air-dry itself. I turned the blow dryer on high, laughing as I held it in front of my mouth, watching my lips move comically. After my hair was dry, I put the dress on, smiling as I looked in the mirror. I grabbed my black liquid eyeliner, and gave myself a winged-eyeliner look. Making sure they were both even, I grabbed my eyeshadow pallet, and went to work on a white, gray, and black smokey eye ; with a small tinge of brown at the ends.
I smiled at my work, seeing how good it had turned out. I smiled down again at my ring, touching its diamonds lightly. I felt happy tears well in my eyes, but I held them in, not wanting to mess up my makeup. I dabbed my finger under my eye, catching the start of the tears before they fell on my face. I shook myself slightly, focusing back in on what I had to do. I took some strands of my hair, creating a French braid going over my shoulder.
(Like that except over her shoulders okay? 👍)
I was almost ready. All I needed now, were some shoes. I walked back to the closet, looking for some black heels. After a while if searching, I finally found some gorgeous stilettos.
I put them on, and tied the strings up to my ankles. I looked down at them and smiled, feeling perfect. I went over to the door, opened it, and stood at the top of the stairs. I saw Mistah J in a black and white tux, waiting for me. Guess he got ready while I was still up there. I thought as I began walking down the stairs. I heard him take in a short breath when he saw me, and his eyes slightly widened. I got down to the foot of the stairs, and smiled up at him. He stared at me, wide-eyed, with a smile on his face. "H-Harley, you look... stunning." He purred. I smiled as I took his hand in mine, kissing him lightly on the cheek. We walked out to the car, him opening the door for me as I sat down. He got in and we drove to the nightclub, I was too excited to even speak.
Joker's P.O.V.
I couldn't help but smile as I looked at her and the road, back and forth. She looked absolutely gorgeous. She had never looked so beautiful, not like this. I'm the luckiest man alive. If anyone even looks at her, they aren't going to live to talk about it.
We drove most of the way in silence, but the times I looked over at her, she was twirling her ring, smiling.
We pulled into the nightclub's parking lot, and I chose a parking space for the car, parking it. I got out and walked over to her side, opening the door for her. She smiled as I stuck out my hand for her to take, lifting her out. She interlocked her arm with mine as we walked to the doors of the club, the bouncers simply nodding, stepping to the side to let us in. She smiled at me as we walked in, the music blaring. Tons of people had shown up tonight, and everything seemed to move in slow motion as we walked in.
Some people walked out right then, and others stared in awe. The DJ stopped the music, and I glared over at him. "Hey! What's a dance without something to dance to?!" I yelled. He scrambled helplessly as he tried to turn the music back on, but his hands failed him. I looked at Harley momentarily. "I'll be right back, sweetheart." She smiled at me, nodding her reply. I walked up to the DJ, and swiftly pulled out my gun. I shot him in the leg, and he fell to the floor, screaming in agony. I laughed as I stood over him.
"You know, you're not very good at your job." I sighed as I continued. "And I can't give my place a bad rep." I said as I shot him again, this time killing him.
" I guess if you want something done, you have to do it yourself," I said as I turned the music back on. All the people started dancing again, as if nothing had happened. I put my gun black into my tux, walking back to Harley. I was greeted with her huge smile, and she took my arm again as we walked over to the dance floor. Everyone cleared a way for us, leaving the whole floor to ourselves. Someone walked over to the multiple laptops and speakers that were used to play all the music , and started playing a slow dance song. I looked at her and smiled, backing away and holding out my hand.
"May I have this dance?" I asked politely. She grinned as she took my hand and curtsied, and I pulled her close. I took her left hand, holding it in my right as we swayed to the music. "We are gathered here today," I started. "To witness the union of Harleen Quinzel," I purred. "And..." she started. I had never told her my name. My first name, before I became the real me. "Jack Napier." I finished for her. Her eyes widened as she smiled, "That's a beautiful name, Puddin'." She said softly. I smiled slightly and continued. "I promise to stay by your side."
"Through sickness and health" We began to go back and forth.
"For rich or for poor"
"I promise to protect you from anyone wants us to stop our jokes," I said with a grin. "And I promise to always be there when you want to crash someone's party" she replied. "I promise to always see the darkness in your bright eyes." I said slowly.
"And I promise to always see the light in your deep, dark, mind." She giggled.
"Is there anyone who objects to their matrimony?!?!" I yelled into he air. No one replied, and she leaned close to my ear. "You may now kiss the bride," she whispered with a smile. I let my hands wrap around her hips as we gently brought our lips together, still swaying to the music. After a few short seconds that felt like a long, endearing, hour, I pulled away, smiling at her. "I love you, Harley Quinn." I said as I looked into her deep, gray-blue eyes. "I love you too, Puddin'." We stood, our foreheads gently resting on each other, smiling uncontrollably.
