"I change my mind, I don't want to see the nurse." Aiden stated when we almost reached her.

I stopped walking and looked at him, "But what if you broke something? She'd be able to tell probably."

He shook his head and stood up a little straighter. "I didn't break anything, V. Know how when kids fall they cry for a little while then stop because it doesn't hurt as badly any more?"

"Yeah, I guess so? But you're not a little kid and you didn't just fall. Someone beat you up."

I couldn't bring myself to say Harry beat him up because I couldn't believe that. I didn't want to believe that.

He looked at me. "V, I swear I'm alright. It hurts a little, but I'll live. I've gotten hurt worse playing hockey before."

After much debate, I finally decided to drop it and let Aiden do what he wanted. I made sure my opinion on him getting help was clear, but if he didn't want to listen then there was nothing else I could do. I wasn't going to force him to do anything if he sincerely thought he was fine. However, I was not going to let him continue walking around with blood all over and decided I needed to help get him cleaned up.

We were sneaking away to one of the bathroom's when I heard someone approach from behind us.

I took a quick glance back and noticed it was Harry.

"Hey, what happ- Shit, dude...Your face." Harry stated, staring at Aiden in shock.

Either he was a really good actor or he didn't actually hurt Aiden.

Aiden tensed as Harry approached. "Don't act surprised. V already knows you did it."

Okay, maybe Aiden was a good actor too or he really was telling the truth.

Harry glanced back and forth between Aiden's stone cold face and my blank face. "Wait...you think I did this?" he questioned.

Aiden looked away. "I know you did."

Harry let a small laugh escape which made me raise my eyes. I didn't know why he was laughing considering Aiden was hurt.

"You don't believe him, do you Ronnie?" Harry asked with a look of disbelief on his face.

Aiden turned to me, waiting for my answer to Harry's question as well.

I blinked a couple of times and took a step back. "I...I don't know who I believe. I'm sorry."

It was the truth. Both of them were important to me and I valued what they had to say, but they both had two very different sides to the story.

"That's okay..Just please don't shut me out until you do find out the truth?" Harry stated, looking at me with innocent eyes.

I nodded, noticing shutting Harry out when something went wrong was a typical thing for me to do since I was bad with confrontation when it came to people I cared about. Except, this time I didn't actually know if he did anything wrong. According to Aiden he did, but I couldn't judge the situation until I got more information.

Blinking, I focused back to the present and turned to Aiden. "You need to get cleaned up."

About twenty five minutes and a whole lot of paper towels later, Aiden finally seemed decent again. His lip was swollen, and he had a lot of bruises for sure, but he looked much better.
