"Alright, I think that's enough practice for today."

Harry looked at me with a judging look. "Rons, all you did was fix the mirror and buckle your seat belt."

I nervously stared at him and my dad who were both in the car with me, trying to teach me how to drive. "I don't want to learn how to drive, I'm perfectly fine letting other people drive me around."

My dad laughed, "You're going to have to learn one day, kiddo. Might as well learn now. We'll just go for a quick drive around town. Put the car in reverse to back out of the driveway."

"No thanks." I responded, shaking my head. Since I was always so busy with skating growing up, I never had the chance to get my license or even think about driving. But ever since Harry was on a quest for me to accomplish "ordinary" things and he found out I didn't even have my permit, he made it his new goal to help me get on the road. Other than his goal of crushing Zac in our hockey rematch next week, of course.

Now here I am with a fresh permit and wishing I never let him drag me into this mess. It's not that I didn't want to drive, it's just I knew I was going to be bad at it. I'm good on ice, not on pavement.

It didn't take long for me to make my case because when I went to back out of the driveway, I hit the mail box.

"Oops, my bad." I replied with a nervous laugh.

My dad sighed but gave me a pat on the shoulder, "This is going to be a long day, huh?"

"Good, good. You're getting the hang of it!" Harry cheered from the backseat as I came to a stop at the stop sign.

I groaned, "I'm still on our street! We've been in the neighborhood for almost two hours!"

My dad nodded and I let my foot off the break to move forward, "You're right, I think you're ready for the actual road now. You know, one with other cars."

As soon as his words hit me, I stopped the car in the middle of the road and stared at him. "No, I didn't mean I wanted to keep driving. Two hours is a long time, I'm done for today I think."

He chuckled, "We'll just drive for like five minutes on the real road then come back, okay?"

"Not okay." I responded.

Harry chimed in from the back, "Well you can't just stay here in the middle of the street. There's a car coming."

I panicked when he said that and quickly put my foot on the gas pedal, taking off to turn out of the neighborhood.

"Oh my gosh, this was a terrible decision there's even more cars now!" I stated while anxiously gripping the wheel and trying not to hit anyone. I'd never really understood Carrie Underwood's song, 'Jesus Take the Wheel' until this moment.

"You're doing great, Rons. Just breath, you got this." Harry stated, giving me a pat on the shoulder.

I nervously laughed and just kept driving. I guess I wasn't doing terrible.

"Harry's right. Now take a left here and we'll turn around to head back home. I think you've had enough for today." My dad stated in a proud voice.

I nodded and took a right, not really paying attention to where the road was leading me.

"LEFT VERONIKA! I SAID TAKE A LEFT!" My dad then shouted and I blinked, becoming aware that I was now making my way onto the highway.

"I HEARD YOU SAY RIGHT! WHAT DO I DO?!" I asked in a panicked tone, turning to look at him.
