Chapter 48

Without thinking any longer Adi started taking faster steps to save Madhu, as he assumed she was being forced by RK. It was only until he had taken few steps did he realise after watching Madhu kissing on RK's neck and stubble that RK wasn't forcing Madhu, in fact she was loving him as well.

Adi turned around to leave but a feeling of envy occupied and he stopped mid-way hiding himself behind some bushes near the lake. His eyes fell on Madhu who looked stunning in the moonlight...

Adi closed his fist, someplace at the back of his mind he thought if Madhu herself wanted all these riches and luxury. His thinking went beyond all the logics of life.

Little sounds came from behind him and he turned around,

RK stopped hearing the sound and looked up.

Adi hide himself away and slowly made his way out towards the road...

"What happened?" Madhu asked confusedly slanting at the other side...

RK took his phone and called his security "I want you all to come this side. Right now"

He turned towards Madhu "let's go"

Madhu was surprised at his reactions but didn't objected and simply stood up to walk with him towards the road... "But RK..."

Madhu while sitting in her room thought about RK's bizarre behaviour. She didn't wanted to ask him about anything.

"Madhu, just walk" he commanded and hold her wrist towards the vanity van...

RK quickly walked up towards the van

Adi carefully drove the car towards the opposite direction to avoid chasing by RK's security team. It was only a gap of 2 minutes of him fleeing away in the car and the team reaching the spot near the lake...

While driving back home Adi imagined the scene in front of his eyes...where RK tightly held Madhu in his arms and how is unzipped the back of her suit. He could see her beautiful back, feeling of lust developed so much that he wanted Madhu in any way either by hook or crook.

Even though he knew this was wrong still he wanted to step in this and get himself satisfied... he reached home and quietly slipped into his bed making sure Susana was still sleeping...

"Can you tell me, what happened that made you run back?" Madhu crossed her arms and stood at the door

RK shook his head and walked straight to his study "Madhu, go to sleep..."

"No, I won't unless you explain me right now" she asked again

Indignantly RK stared at her "will you shut this up and go to sleep"

"Stop shouting RK" Madhu said and sauntered away...

She walked towards her room and wiped a small tear that was sitting on the edge of her beautiful eye... without giving much heed she walked in the bathroom to change...

After coming out in her satin night dress she glanced around but RK was still in his study...she didn't had a clue what he was up to but this time she won't ask him a thing.

She made up a mind not to talk to him now. Looking at the clock that showed 3am, she walked towards the fridge to get something to eat. Sleep was far from her eyes, but hunger was hitting this time. She recalled she didn't had much for dinner.

Madhu opened the fridge and scanned at few fruits, salad and some bread. Finally taking the bread out and placing on the plate, she applied some mayonnaise with salad to make a nice toast for herself.

Not bearing the pain of his rude words she thought of watching some TV. She walked towards the lounge with a small blanket and a pillow to sit on the couch and turned on the TV...

Life was not easy sometimes, she thought and planned to visit her parents for some days...

Slowly after watching the TV for a while, she never knew when sleep took over...

Next Day

Madhu woke up only to find RK standing in front of her...

"Good morning" he was holding a plate in his hand

Madhu ignored and was about to get up from the couch when he kept the plate on the table and hold her from behind...

"Leave me RK" she said huskily

"How?" he murmured kissing her hair near the ear lobe

"Like you did last night" she snapped back

His hold was tighter around her waist now "I had something important sweetheart"

Madhu wasn't convinced "something important" she turned around looking into his eyes "so important that you shouted at me?"

RK cupped her face in his hands "nothing's important than you"

"Then what was it, tell me?" she asked curiously

RK quietly scanned her eyes "do you trust me?"

"More than myself" she answered straightaway

"Then don't ask" he said

Madhu frowned a little then smiled "ok...I won't ask now. But promise if there's a problem you will share with me"

RK kissed her on the forehead "sure"

"Are you leaving now?" she asked

"Yes...I have some work and then I have to meet my producer"

"I was planning to visit papa and ma..."

RK frowned "why all of a sudden? Is it because of last night that..."

"No...RK. I just feel like meeting them...it's been few months now" she smilingly held his hand

"How many days?"

"Ummm....four or five" she answered back

RK hugged her in his arms "how will I stay away from you?"

"It's only few days, I will be back soon. Why don't you come along with me?"

"No I can't, I have work here. But I will book the tickets for you" he kissed her hair...
