Seeing Back (A Sonic Fanfic)

Chapter Two

Tails POV

 "Thank you Tails," Sally said, noticing that I was starting to cry. I wiped my eyes and gave her the mic. "Please give a round of applause for the heroes of Mobius including the ones that passed," there was a moment of silence and then everyone clapped. Sonic, Sally and I stood on the podium looking out into the crowd. I saw a few familiar faces, Mrs. Vanilla, Silver, Blaze, Marine, a lot of people that didn't go with us on our adventure out in space.

I unlocked my house door. It had taken awhile for us to clean off the Blue Typhoon, but we somehow managed to do it even though usually Vector was just standing there doing nothing. He probably volunteered just to impress Mrs. Vanilla. I walked inside and took a deep breath. Now what? The adventure was over, and Cosmo didn't come back with us. I wanted to take her places around Mobius because it seemed like she rarely had a moment where she could just relax and not worry about the Meterax. The phone rang and I ran over to the wall to grab it. "Hey Tails," I heard Sonic say from the other end.

"Hey," I said back.

"Cream invited everyone to her house for a welcome home party. Do you want to come?" Sonic asked.

"Sure, I'll go," I don't have anything else to do anyway.

"Cool! See you soon!" The phone beeped signaling he hung up.

"See ya," I said as I put the phone back on its stand. I looked around my living room. It was a mess. Usually I'm a good house keeper, but being away for so long and only having a small amount of time to clean added up, and you could see it with the layer of dust on everything. I could practically hear my mom yell at me to clean it up. That's when I realized something... My parents were coming home this week!!!! Oh no oh no oh no!!!!! I grabbed the duster and started to dust everything. Pretty soon there was a cloud of dust floating around which made me cough. I opened up the windows, which aired it out a little. I looked at the clock and a half hour passed while I was dusting. I need to get over to Creams'! I ran out the door and flew to Creams' house which wasn't that far away.

While I was flying it felt like I kept getting weaker and descending. Then, I started to get dizzy and tired. I hadn't realized how close I was to the ground until then I hit a tree. I tried to get up, but I couldn't. I was stuck! My head started to get even dizzier and dizzier until I blacked out. 

 I woke up in the same hallway that I did before and did everything the same, but this time I knew what would happen. But what I thought I knew what would happen, it didn't. The Metarex came out of the wall like before and I cowered in fear, but I could understand what it was saying. It said," You will be a spy for the Metarex. We will see everything you see and hear everything you hear. Your code name is White Seed."

I woke up scared, my heart was pounding and my palms were sweating. Who was that? It couldn't have been Dark Oak, or could it?

Sorry for not uploading anything in FOREVER and also, sorry this chapter is so short. I swear the next one will be a bit longer cuz it's the partay baby! XD
