Andy's POV

I walk over to my friends. "Your step sister is looking hot today." I laugh. Jake always does his.
"Yeah yeah Jake." Alex walks bye talking to some guy with purple hair. She laughs.
And I see he's tickling her.
"Tanner stop." She says laughing. She runs to the football field with him racing after her.

Not long after they come back, her on his back. "Who's that?" Ashley sighs. "Tanner Oakley. New student from LA. Seems he's Alex's best friend oh and am I the only one who knows Alex is a closeted trans boy?" I look at him in shock.
"Everyone knows it but he or she is still hot." You see it's complicated.
The guys love her? Him? Idk.
But I've always bullied her it's just what I do. They told me to stop last year but I didn't and now I still haven't.
She gets off his back and walks over to us hugging Ashley. "Hey ash." He smiles at him?her? Idk.
"Hey Alex. Who's that?" They look at tanner. "This is my friend tanner. He's only here for a week. He's seeing blink-182 in Columbus." Ashley smiles.
"Awesome man. Oh and your weird step brother was wondering boy or girl." They laugh. "I'm a guy. I just haven't came out to my mum and she's already mad at me." He? looks down and I see tanner is talking to a tall guy with black hair.
Ashley pulls him somewhere else.
"Why do you guys all friendly with Alex." CC sighs. "We like him. We're always mean to him cause of you." I sigh. "He is a girl." That's when Alex walks over and Ashley looks pissed at me.
"He is a guy Andy." I laugh.
Stop Andy don't do it
"No she is a girl. A fat ugly one at that and that's what she always will be."
Why did I do that!
He looks at me with tears in his eyes and runs to his locker. "Andy that was a dooche move." I sigh. "I don't know why I did that." CC laughs. "I do. Your falling for your step brother and your trying to find any excuse not to. But I think you took it a bit far." I rub my face and turn to see tanner holding Alex.
"Yep I fucked up." Ashley rubs my back. "Wanna help him? Help him come out so he can actually be happy." I nod.
"He's out to everyone but his mom and your dad. Even the students and teachers who except him." I nod.
Jinxx speaks up. "I mean it wasn't a shock. When he was in 8th grade he was quarterback for the guys football team." I nod.
Ashley sighs. "But then Zack told him he could never be like them." I sigh. "Didn't Zack move to Michigan?" I nod.
"Andy you better go after him." Ashley points to Alex. "I can't. If I skip again I'm going to get killed." They all nod understandingly and we go to Art.
