Alex's POV

"Well my full name is Alexander James Carson. I'm 16 just like you. I like punkish music. I play guitar and song write a bit. My dad abused me until my mum kicked him out when I was 14. I also had a big brother. He would've turned 19 yesterday but he...:he um killed himself-" Andy stops me. "What was his name." He ask sincerely. I pull my knees up to my chest. "His name was Mike." I chuckle sadly. "He had a boyfriend and his boyfriend was being bullied at school. He was upset and he was mad at himself cause he couldn't stop me from being abused by our dad or his boyfriend be hurt at school. So he gave up. He killed himself on December 28th. My birthday." Alex looks surprised.
"What never thought there was more to me then short hair, sweatpants and crying?" He looks down.

"Why do you cut your hair so short even though it's long right now?" I sigh. "I'm a masculine girl. I just am. I don't know." He smiles. "I'm sorry I hurt you." I shrug. "I'm probably going to drop out of school soon Anyway." He sighs.
"You like Batman?" I ask him trying to break the awkwardness.
He nods. "Yep." He says his proudly. His dad walks in. "Hey Alex, Andy. We're going out for dinner so here's some money for pizza." He says tossing some money to Andy.

He's actually not that bad when we're alone.
