Chapter 11: Truth Or Dare?

Whelp, from the chapter title, I'm pretty sure you guys can guess what this is about.
More or less.

So I followed pipermazino's idea to have two more chapters(including this one), and then end the book.

Here we go!

Jason's POV

I sit at the Zeus table, my head feeling heavy. I've been researching for days for a potential cure for the stupid potion, but to no avail.

I pick at my breakfast. I'm not hungry. All I want is to actually find an antidote of some sort. I look up just as Percy slides into the seat next to mine."Dude, you have to do something other than mope around and spend time going through dusty old books." I roll my eyes and mutter something incoherent.

Percy grabs me by the shoulders and turns me to face him. He studies me, sea-green eyes narrowed on me. "I swear on the River Styx that I will help you get Piper back from that moron." I shrug his hands off my shoulders. "Really?" He nods. "Of course." The serious moment is broken by Annabeth's shout of,"PERCY JACKSON! YOU COME HERE RIGHT NOW!" He flashes me a grin."See you."

He dashes off, his presence immediately being replaced by a grinning Leo."Jason! I know how to get Piper back! I've been thinking this through, and if it does work-"

I interrupt him,"Just tell me!"

He tells me the plan, but I'm not so sure. "Are you sure it'll work?" I ask sceptically. He waves his hand dismissively."Who cares? It won't hurt to try." I sigh. "I guess...but can we ask Annabeth, just in case?" He nods."Yeah, yeah."

"Theoretically, it might. I'm not sure, though." Annabeth says as she focused on her Jenga match with Percy. As Percy knocks the whole thing down accidentally, Annabeth smiles."That's the fourth time I've won, Seaweed Brain." Percy shrugs."You look beautiful when you win."

I glance at them."So do we do it now, or..." Leo stands up."We gotta do it now."

Piper's POV

"Aaron!" One of his half-siblings yells."You playing Truth Or Dare with Jackson and his little squad?" Aaron grins."I'm so ready to humiliate Grace," he says, and tugs on my arm. I giggle."Yeah, whatever you say, Aaron,"I gush, looking into his eyes.

They were playing it at the mostly empty dining pavilion. Chiron allowed us to have a few days of to commemorate the return of me. I really appreciate it, because that means I can spend more time was Aaron!

We sit down, my hand in his. I see Jason's eyes flicker to our intertwined fingers, and I see a flash of jealousy, but it is immediately replaced by a mask of calm.

When about six more people join, we start.

Soon, Percy is wearing a red wig, Annabeth's hair is black, Katie Gardner has cut up some flowers, Leo has admitted that he had a security blanket when he was young, Arianna is wearing makeup, Crystal has admitted that she likes Case Eames from Ares(who is now staring flirtatiously at her; I totally ship), and Drew has eaten her makeup.

Drew picks Jason. "Truth or dare?"

He holds eye contact."Dare."

Drew grins. Oh, no. "I dare you to kiss Piper!" Aaron groans and glares at both Jason and Drew."You bitxh," he seethes. Drew merely bats her eyelids."Jiper is way better than whatever ship name you two have," she says. Never would've thought her to say that, I think.

Jason glances at me. I smile faintly and shrug. Aaron stops me."You can't do this.""It's just a dare," I say. "What's the harm?" Jason inches closer; as do I. As our lips touch, my head aches. I feel like my head is splitting apart. I force myself to pull back. The pain lessens as I get farther away from Jason. I shrink into Aaron's side. Jason's face was full with hurt.

I gasp out,"I'm sorry, there was this pain, and-"His eyes widen."Are you okay?" "Yeah, I'm fine." I realise that everyone's eyes are on me, and I self-consciously look down. Annabeth's strong voice breaks through the tension."Alright, Jason, pick a person." Her grey eyes glinted, as if she was calculating every move, even though this was a simple game of Truth Or Dare.

Right?

Jason spoke."Piper. Truth or dare?"
I swallow."Dare."
Jason looks me in the eyes."I dare you to charmspeak yourself to snap out of the love spell Lofts put on you three times."

The room turns quiet. I swallow again; it's like there's a ball in my throat. I put power and persuasion into my voice when I speak:"Snap out of it." Softly at first, then louder:"Snap out of it!"
Finally:"SNAP OUT OF IT!"

Then I black out.

I'm in the infirmary when I wake up. My head feels warm and stuffy, my mind is fuzzy. "Piper?" A familiar, fond voice says.

My eyelids flutter open."Jason?" I mumble. Multi-coloured eyes meet electric-blue. The fog in my mind has cleared. I throw my arms around Jason, his body enveloping me.
