I walked unsteadily down the hallway ,  I sat in the class room , confused , for at least 10 minutes .  "Hey , Chris??" A tall brown eyed boy turned around in my direction. "Oh hey Tianna." "Uh.. do you know where Brandon is?" I asked him , biting my lip nervously. "He's in the library downstairs. Cameron and I are trying to figure out a way to escape." He sighed. "Why isn't he helping?"  I was quite confused. "He's pissed off about something ,he's in one of his moods so we asked him to cool off first. anyways , I've gotta get back to work. Not long until the mafia gets tired of tormenting our parents and come for us." He said as he walked away with a kit of tools from the janitors closet. I walked quickly down the stairs and to the library. "Brandon?!" I called out .  There was no reply. "Brandon?...Brandon!" I screamed I ran up to him in shock. He was crying softly in the corner. "Brandon.. what's wrong?!" I pulled him closer to me. "They're coming." he whispered. "Who? Who... the mafia?" My eyes widened .He nodded . "How do you know?" I moved closer to him , my voice cracked as I began to cry.  "I heard them , they drove by the school today. I opened the window for some fresh air. and..". "Brandon?!" I yelled "What..??". "I thought we made a promise to never ever open the window.. you know how dangerous that is.." "I'm sorry Tianna , its been 34 days don't I deserve some fresh fucking air?" I was absolutely shocked at his response , he's never sworn or cursed art me before. "What did you hear..?" I said calmly. "Well our parents are alive , they have all of them doing labour for them." he sighed . "And they're saying that they need the children and teens to help too. at first they didn't care but now they apparently do." I looked down. "When are they coming?." I asked bluntly.  "We've got 7 weeks , that's how long they have until they'll need us to help building. because they're bringing more members fro! their country. "I don't get it , why hasn't anyone from any other country or city heard about this or tried to stop it?." "They shoot anyone or thing that crosses the gate they out around over our city. no one can help us. They're getting stronger." "We need to fight them , we need to come together ." I exclaimed. " Tianna , you are insane. there's only about 60 of us here they have an army."  I shook my head at his ignorance. "What you fail to realize is we're not the only school full of kids on lockdown. They raided at least 38 schools that night" "Ti,..." he laughed in astonishment. "Where are you going with this?" he looked at me.  "All I know is I'm not going anywhere with those sick people." I stood up.
