//AN hey everyone! I haven't updated in so long because I've been so busy with school. I'm back though! Enjoy this chapter.
The next few days I'd gone without seeing Riker anywhere, it made me so much happier. Ratliff and I became closer and closer, he eventually asked me to be his. he fell pretty hard and so did I so I obviously said yes to him.
I was walking down the street, hand in hand with Ratliff when I saw him. Riker, was sitting against the wall of a shop. I let go of Ratliff's hand, running across the street. Riker coughed slightly and I looked down at him, quickly sitting down on my knees, I grabbed his face and saw bruises and blood all over it, he was in terrible shape and I was so mortified.
He looked over my face in desperation, Ratliff was standing behind me but u didn't even notice. "Are you okay, Riker?" I looked over all of his bruises. He quickly shook his head and I helped him stand up. "Babe, we need to get him home." I kept my hands on Riker, turning my head to Ratliff who looked extremely annoyed. "Fine." He rolled his eyes. Riker coughed again and looked down at my hands, grabbing my wrists gently. "No, I can't go home, they'll find me." I furrowed my brow and look up to him, "Who?"
He shook his head no again and I sighed. "Well you can stay at my house for a while, my mom is there but i'll be able to hide you."
Ratliff and I walked Riker back to my house, my mom's car wasn't there so I was assuming that she was at the store.
I sat Riker down on the couch and let him there with Riker, I ran over to the kitchen and got some ice, putting into a bag. I waked back to Riker and gave it to him, he took the bag from me mumbling a soft thank you as he placed it on his cheek. "Um, can I talk to you?" Ratliff took my arm, leading me out of the living room. "What are you doing?"
"I'm helping him out, it's not like anyone else would ever do it." I said.
"I don't want him to hurt you, you can't just let him stay here."
"He needs help, I'm not just going to let him sit out on the street."
Ratliff shook his head and sighed. "Fine whatever, but if he tries anything at all you make sure you call me."
I nodded and I walked back out to Ratliff. "You can stay here for as long as you want, Riker."
Riker nodded once and smiled weakly, "Thank you."
Ratliff eventually left and Riker and I sat on the couch. "So you're dating him?" I looked over at him, his eyes roaming over my face. "Yes, he's my boyfriend."
"Interesting." Riker laughed softly.
"What is that supposed to mean?" I asked. "He's just so your type. You're one of those girls that would go for a guy who isn't going to try anything."
I shook my head and looked away from him. "That's what I want so you can just shut up."
"That's a little harsh, all I'm saying is you should have a guy who's going to actually make out with you."
"What does that have to do with anything? It doesn't matter. I like him and he likes me, and plus it shouldn't be any of your damn busi-"
Riker quickly leaned over towards me pressing his lips against mine, I attempted to push him back but he wouldn't budge. I gave in eventually and I kissed him back and as soon as I did he moved away.
"Don't kiss me again, Riker."
Riker laughed quietly, "Don't even act like you didn't like it."
And the truth was, I kind of did and I don't know why.
