I hate gale!!!

Chapter 6

Peeta's date

The boy I looked at was none other than Gale!

"Gale!!!" I screamed.

"Hey babe!" he blew off my scream like it was a fly.

"DON'T CALL ME BABE!!!" I screech at him.

I see him cover his ears quickly to make sure I wouldn't burst his fucking ear drums. When I see him take his hands off his 'precious' ears I start screeching again.

"Gale I thought you loved me! you know what you're not worth my time! get out of here! oh and GALE FUCKING HAWTHORNE WE ARE THROUGH!!!"

I see tears in his eyes when I finish and know he still has feelings for me but I copy his own reaction and add

"Oh and enjoy sucking that slut's face." I add seductively, knowing that it will annoy him.

Satisfied that my intention worked I lie back in the hospital bed just as my ex walks out.

Just as I hear the door shut I hear it open as quickly as it closed. I sat up to look at who walked in only to to see everyone trying to cover up their laughs at me smiling in satisfaction.

"We heard the yelling. what was that all about?" Delly asks.

"Oh I broke up with Gale." I fake cry causing all the girls(minus Jo) to come over and comfort me.

"Guys I'm faking." I laugh, "geez, breaking up with him was the best thing that ever happened to me! plus I kinda like someone else. Speaking of which guys can I speak to Peeta alone?" no one needs to answer, they all just file out.

I notice that Peeta looks a little uncomfortable.

"It's ok, I'm not gonna bite!" I assure him jokingly.

"Katniss can I ask you something?"

"You just did." I point out while he laughs at me comment.

"No something else. will you be my girlfriend?"

"Peeta I would love to!" I squeal while jumping out of bed.

I run to him and crash my lips into his. at first he doesn't react, he just stands there, but soon he is kissing me back with his hands gliding up and down my back.

Suddenly without meaning to I jump and wrap my legs around his waist. the kisses get rougher and I feel his tongue brush my bottom lip and I happily let him in. midway through us exploring each other's mouths the others walk in and Peeta and I pull away quickly and Peeta just holds me by my waist.

"Woah! kitty Kat you got over Gale quickly!" fin laughs.

I laugh and to prove that I was over Gale I kiss Peeta full on the lips.

"So katniss do you want to go out tonight because the nurse said that you can go home today." Peeta asks.

"Peeta Mellark I would love to go on a date with you!" I reply formally.

"Miss Effie may I go to the bathroom?" Cato jokes.

We all laugh and I just kiss Peeta and embrace the time I share with him!

Sorry it was sappy! I was just thinking about my boyfriend while I wrote this.

But, yay katniss and Peeta are together!!! woohoo! no Gale! or is there more Gale? I will update soon. xxx
