Siblings Reunited Revised (On Hiatus)

Commence Sonia Rant

'Hi guys!' Sonic said cheerily.

'SONIC!' They yelled. Sonia Nova and Manic ran towards him and embraced him tightly. Knuckles tried to squeeze past the hugging hedgehogs, only to be pulled into the hug as well, by Sonia Sonic and Nova.

After a few seconds of crying, and hugging, Sonia broke the happy moment.

'SONIC HEDGEHOG!' she screamed 'WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!'

'Sonia, I... uh...' Sonic said nervously.

Manic, Nova, and Knuckles retreated to Cyrus, Sally, Amy and Tails who, along with the others in the room, were staring at Sonia with varying degrees of surprise.

'Sorry 'bout Sonia. She acts like the eldest when Sonic messes up.'

'Does that happen often?' Amy asked looking worried.

'Yep' Cyrus nodded

Nova added 'Basically any time he goes off by himself.'

'Well, um...' Tails said worriedly 'He kind of adopted me as his younger brother...'

'Sweet,' Manic smiled 'Ah always want a younger brother! Come here you!' Manic pulled Tails into a noogie.

'Ouch!' Tails yelped.

'Sorry 'bout that!' Manic chuckled

'Um... Sonia's still yelling.' Amy said

'Wait a sonic second!' Manic copied Sonic's old catch phrase (apart from 'I'm waiting!').

'What is it?' Amy asked

'You said that your boyfriend was in there getting our medallions.' Manic smirked 'So... which one are you dating, my bro Sonic or Knuckles?'

'Sonic,' Amy said blushing

Manic, and Cyrus looked at her shocked while Nova smirked and said "I knew it."

'What,' Amy asked 'It's not that big a deal is it'

'Yes it is!' The two gasped.

'He had all the girls in the resistance flocking towards him Sally being one of them,' Nova said smirking.'He must really love you!'

Amy smiled and blushed. They all jumped when Sonia raised her voice even more.

"YOU DIDN'T EVEN LEAVE A NOTE!" she screamed

"SONIA!" Nova yelled. Everyone turned their attention to him."I think he's sorry..."

Everyone looked at Sonic. His ears were folded right back and was on the verge of tears.

"Oh Sonic I'm sorry, I just..." Sonia started but Sonic interrupted her.

"It's okay Sonia," Sonic smiled "I guess I did give you a reason to yell at me."

"Yo sis," Manic said dragging Tails and Amy over to her. "We got another brother! Plus, Sonic got a girlfriend!"

Everyone laughed at Sonia's shocked face. Amy and Tails ran over to Sonic and buried their faces into his shoulders.

"I love you guys..." Sonic whispered.

Sally and Nova were sitting watching the sunset. She had asked him to take a walk with her, to get fresh air.

Sally looked at Nova, she noticed he had a tattoo of a flaming skull on his neck.

"So when did you get that tattoo?" Sally asked.

"Oh Manic did it for me after we met up again." Nova sighed "I wish I was never branded to be the devil's errand boy."

"What did you say?" Sally asked confused

Nova sighed "I was forced into a contract when the devil took over my body and saved your life."

"When did that happen?"

"It was the day I busted you and your father out of the camp," he said "I was in a coma for months after Eggman roboticized me when I woke up I was on fire All i remember is that i saw a burning mobian and it transferring its powers to me."

"What happened afterwards?"

After the sun went down his head was engulfed in flames and through the flames his skull was visible. Sally was shocked to see the transformation for the first time.

"This is was my end of the deal." Nova said as the fire crackled around him softly "When I find him, I will force him to reverse the curse."

"I hope you do." She said yawning. "You look kinda scary and cool ant the same time." 

Nova's flames turned blue as they died down "Thanks."

"Does it hurt?" she asked as she yawned.

"No not really I think of it as a heated blanket." He saw that she was tired he motioned his arm towards him "Come here you look cold."  she obliged then fell asleep in his lap covered in his jacket and as she slept Nova made a promise to her, "Sally I promise I'll be there for you if you need someone to comfort you and keep you safe".
