Non-Hockey Rant For Once

There is one thing that irks me.

I don't like writers who write for readers. What I mean by this, is people who will write or start a story and practically BEG for readers or comments. Also, generally these people won't ever finish the story, because no one "liked" it.

The one exception I have to this, is one-shots/Imagines or any "interactive stories", where you have to have reader interaction with it.

But if you're writing an actual story, please, don't beg. Most of us ignore you, it's the truth. I don't like getting emails with messages that basically say, "Read my story." I have my tastes in what I like and if I liked it, I'd read it. So yeah, I'm sure there are people reading it, you don't need everyone to read it.

For me, personally, I write for the fun of it. I write because I love it, not because I WANT readers. I use writing to practice and better my skills and at the same time enjoy the craft.

So, please, take this into consideration some of you, because I'm not a fan of fake writers to be honest.

Thanks.
