"So... can we do this again, or do I have to settle for awkwardly running into you at the station?"

Lily chuckled as she turned to face Stiles and leaned back against her front door. "That would be awkward, wouldn't it?" she agreed. "I suppose the smart thing to do would be to go out a few more times, just to minimize awkwardness."

"A few more times, huh?" he grinned and stepped closer. "I think that's fair."

"I had a feeling you'd see things my way," she smirked as she straightened up, boosting herself closer to him.

"Yeah, well you're pretty persuasive."

He slipped his arms around her waist and closed the gap between them. He hesitated for a few seconds, his gaze flicking down to her lips and back up to meet her eyes.

"Not thinking about backing out now, are you?" she whispered, holding his gaze.

"Just wondering how good it has to be to get you to agree to going out again on Saturday."

"Saturday would be perfect. No convincing needed."

"Oh," he smirked and pulled back. "In that case, never mind. See you Saturday," he teased and turned away.

"Oy!" she protested and caught his hand. "Not so fast, you prat," she laughed and tugged him back, pressing her lips to his.

He laughed at her insistence and leaned into it, anchoring a hand in her hair as he returned the soft, slow kiss.

Her arms looped around his neck to pull him into her as she propped herself against the door again. She lingered just long enough to hear him groan before she ducked her head and broke away from his lips.

"See you Saturday," she breathed out as she looked up at him through her eyelashes.

She reached a hand back for her doorknob and turned it, stepping back into her apartment. After pausing to wink at him, she closed the door and left him dazed on the stoop.

He watched her disappear with a slackened jaw, his eyes gleaming hungrily. "Saturday," he whispered and stumbled back to his Jeep.
