Hey, guys! It's that time of the day again. I'm gonna try and put more stuff in this chapter. I wanna make it as good as I can. Anyway, without further ado, STORY TIME!!!
When Isaac woke up, he noticed two things; one, he wasn't at home anymore, and two, he couldn't see out of his left eye, yet he had perfect depth perception.
"Ohhh, my head..." groaned Henry, slowly regaining consciousness. "Where are we?"
"I'm not sure ye-" Isaac began.
"Beach City," Jim answered.
"What makes you so sure?" he challenged.
"Well, if you were paying attention, you notice that we're right next to a welcome sign."
"Shut up, Jim."
"Screw you!"
"Guys!" Henry interrupted, "do you know what this means?"
"What?" Isaac and Jim asked in unison.
"The I.D.P.T. sent us to the world of Steven Universe!" he answered.
Skeat and Jim's jaws dropped in disbelief. They took a good look around, and saw that he was right (as if the welcome sign wasn't enough). That's when Henry noticed something else.
"Uh, Isaac..." Henry started to ask in confusion.
"What is it now?" Isaac asked.
"You seem to have a gem were your left eye should be," he answered.
"What are you tal-" Isaac stopped mid-sentence once he put his hand over his eye and felt a cold, smooth surface.
"Oh my god, it's an alcite cat's eye!" he said in shock.
"How do you know?" Jim asked.
"I'm not sure. Some part of me just..." he thought, "knows."
"Well, I'm hungry, and if we're gonna find a way back home, I need food," Henry said.
"Let's go, then," Isaac said, and they were on their way.
Meanwhile...
"Steven!" Pearl called through the temple, holding a bunch of sheets and blankets.
"Coming, Pearl!" Steven called back, and was in the room in a second. "What's the matter?"
"You need to clean up this room," she commented. "Look at this place. It's a mess!"
"Sorry, Pearl," he apologized. "I've just been real busy and-"
"Ah, come on, Pearl," Amethyst interrupted. "What's wrong with a little mess now and then?"
"What's wrong with it!?!" Pearl exclaimed. "What's wrong with it is what is does to you! You'll become a lazy slob and never do anything... cleanly!"
"Too late for that, dude."
Before she could reply, Garnet came in. "There's strange gem activity going on at the boardwalk," she explained.
Pearl gasped. "Is it dangerous?"
"I'm not sure," she replied. "But better safe than sorry."
"A new gem!?" Steven said in excitement. "Can I go to? Please?"
"Well, I don't know, Steven," Pearl started. "These kind of missions can be very-"
"Yes," Garnet interrupted.
"What!?!"
"Yay!" he cheered.
"Pearl, Steven has been doing well for some time. He's earned this."
Pearl was going to keep arguing, but then she looked at Steven, sighed, and said, "Alright, you can come. But be extremely careful."
"Whoo! Let's go!" he said, and they were on their way.
Hey, guys! I was gonna finish this chapter yesterday, but I didn't get enough time. I'm honestly surprised I wrote this much! Trust me, it's a first. Anyway, thanks for reading this, it means a lot to me. See you next chapter!
