Hey, guys! I'm bored... but who cares. I had something clever I wanted to put here, but I forgot. Anyway, STORY TIME!

Standing just a few yards away from each other, it was Amethyst who made the first move. She did a simple whip crack, but our heroes easily dodged it. "Is that all you got?" Henry asked with a cocky smirk. Unfortunately, Amethyst took this moment of chance by wrapping her whip around his leg, afterwords flinging him onto the beach.

Jim then jumped off Isaac's back, and headed to the beach. He pulled out a flaming whip, which gave Henry the chance to slip away. Jim then hit Amethyst with his whip, causing her to fling back, but she easily regained balance, and lunged at him.

Isaac, now by himself, was facing both Pearl and Garnet. Before any of them could react, Henry suddenly appeared next to Garnet, delivering a heavy punch to the jaw that flung her towards Fish Stew Pizza, with Henry close behind.

Pearl made a running charge at Isaac, but he then jumped out of the way before impact. He then tried to go for a slice to her arm, but she reacted fast, deflecting the attack with her spear. Isaac then went for a kick to the jaw, landing it full force. Pearl began to fall backwards, but he then suddenly caught her, stood her up, and ran to help Jim, leaving Pearl utterly confused.

Meanwhile, Jasemine and Steven were sitting on a bench, Steven waiting for the right moment to strike, and Jasemine was, well, being Jasemine. "So," Steven started to ask, "where did you come from?"

"Not really sure, actually," she answered.

It was then that Connie suddenly showed up. "Hey Ste-" she stopped, seeing the fight that was taking place. "Woah! What's going on?"

"We found a new gem."

"Is it that thing with a sword?"

"Yep."

"Well, let's fuse or something! We can't just sit around!"

"Alright," and they fused into Stevonnie and jumped into the action.

Our heroes were not doing so well. Once Stevonnie jumped in, they were outnumbered. "What are we gonna do?" Henry asked.

"We're gonna have to run," Isaac answered.

"Aw, do we have to?" Jim asked pleadingly.

Ignoring him, Henry set off a massive smoke bomb, sending the Crystal Gems into a fit of coughing. Once the smoke cleared, our heroes were gone.

"What are we gonna do know?" asked Connie after unfusing.

"We're gonna search for them," Garnet answered. "And we won't stop until we find them." Unfortunately for them, they didn't realize they were closer to them then they thought. That is a mouthful of th's.

"Look!" said Isaac, pointing a cave out of the rocks on the beach. They wouldn't have noticed this if he wasn't paying attention. The entrance was a bit narrow, and it was so dark it almost perfectly blended in with the rocks. Henry grabbed the flashlight, and led the way in.

"Woah," Henry said. "How convenient is it that we'd find something this awesome?"

"Ask the author," answered Isaac, walking past a slightly confused Henry, but he decided it wasn't worth questioning.

"Alright, we need to start a fi-"

"Done," Jim suddenly interrupted. Looking over, Isaac and Henry saw a perfect fire.

"Right..." Henry slowly started. "We're gonna need food. Since I'm the only human, I'll go." So Henry left for about ten minutes, coming back with about three weeks of food, and a battery powered portable fridge, which he invented, because he's a nerd.

So, they were just sitting there. As they were slow roasting bacon over the fire, they suddenly heard voices outside. Going silent, they went near the entrance of the cave to listen. "I can't believe that there's another gem," said Steven, who stopped next to the entrance to the cave.

"I know," said another voice, a young girl's. "It seems you've had a lot on your plate lately."

"Yep," he agreed. "It's real stressful, Connie."

"I bet it is. But you help people, protect them from all the scary things in the world. That makes it all worth while."

"Never fear, Steven is here!"

"Hahaha!" Connie laughed, and the footsteps started up again.

The gang just sat there, eating bacon, thankful that they weren't caught. "Next time they walk by, can we jump them?" Jim asked pleadingly. The rest of the group gave him a hard stare.

"Okay, jeez..."

Hey, guys! This chapter took me forever, and I'm sorry. I've been pretty stressed out lately. Also, in case you're wondering, Jasemine isn't with them because she likes to appear out of no where. She's like a slightly more violent Pinkie Pie, or something. Anyway, thank you for reading, and I'll talk to you in the next chapter!
