Alexis' POV
"I know you do," I said as Morgan parked the car. We walked into Wal★Mart. "We need a box of five hour energy for sure." I looked at my phone. "Snacks, food, and drinks."
"What are we?" asked Morgan. "Maids?"
"Hey, we are doing this for JJ," I said as Morgan pushed the cart. "So, come on." We bought a few fruit snacks, cups, drinks, lunchables, and of course the five hour energy. We put the groceries in the SUV and headed back to the BAU. We laid everything out neatly on the table. "We only bought enough five hour engery to where everyone gets two." I grabbed two and sat down at my desk. I started typing. "What was the last number dialed on JJ's phone?"
"Its private," said Prentiss. "Can't track it."
"Alright," I said as Morgan opened a box of fruit gushers. He sat next to me with them. He opened a pouch. "Morgan, what are you doing?"
"You gotta get some food in your system baby girl," said Morgan.
"No, I'm fine," I said. "I already ate." I stopped and thought about what JJ would do. "Send a code."
"You haven't taken an energy yet?" asked Prentiss.
"No, I usually stay up till six every night so yeah," I said.
"I have a morse code that came through the fax," said Hotch.
"Got it," I said as I took it from him. I started decoding it. "Its an SOS from JJ."
"What does it say?" asked Morgan.
"She's in Tokyo, Japan," I said. "In a building. No coordinates but she has someone that will recognize us. Our code name is the red coats." I looked at Hotch. "Did you wanna time me or did you want me to dazzle you with luck?"
"You're a genius," said Hotch.
"You're only saying that because it's true," I said.
"Look up the words sexy and brilliant in that computer of yours and tell me what you get," whispered Morgan.
"Look at that," I said. "It's me."
"You're a goddess, woman," said Morgan giving me a kiss on the cheek. "Good job."
"Wheels up?" I asked.
"Yeah," said Hotch. "Wheels up and grab your laptop."
"Got it," I said.
"Come here," said Rossi. He pulled me to a room with a closed door. "See what this name plate says?"
"My name," I said. I felt it. I opened the door. "Is this my office?"
"Yeah," said Rossi. "Have fun." He left.
"Okay," I said. I walked in and kicked a box. "Rossi." I picked it up and started walking. "Ugh."
"Hey sweetheart," said Hotch.
"Do not sweetheart me," I said still carrying the box. "I may be the youngest agent here but that still doesn't make me a maid. This is the third box of crap Rossi has given me."
"I'll take care of it," said Hotch grabbing the box.
"Thank you," I said.
"And you're riding with me," said Hotch.
"Alright," I said. I walked to my office and grabbed my laptop bag. I saw a red box on my desk and it wasn't there when Rossi introduced me to the office. "Oh my god."
Morgan's POV
"Alexis," I said. It looked as if she was frozen. "Baby girl." I walked up behind her. "You okay?"
"Morgan, that red box wasn't there when I got the office," said Alexis.
"Stay put," I said. I put on my glove and went to red box. I opened it. "Its a room key with another morse code." She walked up to me. "What does it say?"
"Alexis, you're the only one I can trust," said Alexis. "With your skills and knowledge I'll know you'd do your best to find me." Alexis looked at me. "Hurry, you don't have much time. You have 48 hours."
"Hotch," I said as we found Hotch. "We got another code." I showed him the key. This key unlocks the room she's in but we have 48 hours to find her or she's dead."
"We gotta leave now," said Hotch. "And I mean now."
"Alright," I said. I got into an SUV with Prentiss. "Hotch is working with Alexis."
"Morgan, you gotta give her space too," said Prentiss. "You don't own her."
"Well, I know that," I said as my phone rang. "Morgan."
"Isn't it creepy?" asked Alexis.
"What?" I asked.
"That you're thinking of me right now, your phone rings, and its me," said Alexis. "How's that for spiritual connections with the youngest SSA?"
"Do I know you?" I asked.
"Why do you hurt me so much?" asked Alexis.
"Alexis, I don't mean to hurt you," I said. "You're not only the youngest. You're the smartest baby girl." I hung up. "And that's all true."
Alexis' POV
"Who's your daddy?" I asked as I started typing on my computer.
"I'm sorry?" Hotch questioned.
"JJ really covered her tracks," I said.
"Do you have the right number? I want every physical demension of the unsub," said Hotch. "Everything you can give me. Just anything you can get your hands on."
"Honey, if he opens his mouth, I can give you the length of his teeth," I said typing. "Don't worry about it."
"Just keep it clean and don't call me honey," said Hotch.
"Alright," I said. We boarded the plane and jet off. "That's all the information I got."
"When we get there I need you to contact every media and social network to hold a press conference," said Hotch. "After we meet up with whoever is supposed to meet us."
"Oh, I'm not the one you want in front of that camera," I said.
"Yes you are," said Hotch.
"Hey, you're gonna be fine," said Morgan.
"No, I will not be fine, Derek," I said. "I will suck."
"Alexis, stop," said Morgan. "We just gotta be some time to get ahead of this guy."
"He'll be watching, you mean?" I asked.
"I'm gonna be right be your side," said Morgan. "Just relax and I am always going to be there to protect you."
"Thank you," I said smiling.
