Chapter 8

Morgan's POV

We finally landed. "If it's five am in DC, then its what time in Tokyo?" I asked as we got off the plane.

"Its seven pm," said Alexis. "We gotta really hurry." We started walking around the city. "Who's supposed to meet us?" A guy walked up to us. Alexis held onto my arm. "Okay."

"Code name," I whispered.

"The red coats," said Alexis.

"Here you go," said the guy.

"Hm," I said. He handed Alexis a piece of paper and left. "Another morse code?"

"Yeah," said Alexis looking at it. "Unsub is male, mid thirties, and his name is Penny Jackson."

"There's our press conference," said Hotch.

"What?" asked Alexis. "No."

"Hey, this isn't about the unsub," I said. "It's about JJ. Its about making Penny famous."

"Aren't we helping him realize his dream?" asked Alexis.

"We get this right, we end that dream," I said. "You can do this baby girl."

"There's more," said Alexis. "JJ doesn't want a press conference held. She wants us to solve the case."

"No matter what happens you never stop talking to me," I said.

"Let me see that," said Reid. He looked at the code. "In order for us to find her one of us needs to get kidnapped."

"Not happening," I said.

Alexis' POV

"That's not even the worst part," I said.

"It's you, isn't it?" asked Morgan.

"Yup," I said.

"Absolutely not," said Morgan.

"She could be getting kidnapped anywhere," said Hotch. "You can't prevent it."

"Yeah," I said.

"We're going to the hotel," said Hotch.

"I'm going to eat somewhere," I said handing my laptop bag to Garcia. "Take care of that."

"Alright," said Garcia. I grabbed JJ's picture from my bag. "I get it."

"Only you would be the one," I said. "Come on Morgan." We walked to a resturant. "Why don't you go and order us food?"

"I'll be right back," said Morgan. "I'll get you something."

"Okay," I said. "I'll find us a seat."

"We hang in the shadows just as our life now hangs in the balance," said Morgan.

"But life without love is no life at all," we said.

"We would be so awesome together," I said.

"Aren't we already?" asked Morgan.

"Like us, we are perfectly matched," I said. "I love you for that Derek." Morgan left. "Time to get kidnapped." I saw a pack of scary looking guys. "Okay." I walked up to them. "Excuse me?" They turned and looked at me. "Do you know her?" I showed them a picture of JJ. They motioned me to follow them. I did. We walked into the alley. As soon as I walked through the door, everything went black. I woke up with the back of my head hurting and my hands tied up above my head. "Oh."

"Alexis," said JJ.

I looked across the room. "JJ," I said.

"You found me," said JJ.

"Yeah, I did," I said.

Morgan's POV

I looked for Alexis all over the resturant. "Alexis?" I asked. I couldn't find her at all. "Oh no." I got out my phone and called Hotch. "This can't be happening."

"Hotch," said Hotch.

"Hotch, Alexis is missing," I said walking out of the resturant. "I can't find her."

"Missing?" asked Hotch. "What do you mean missing?"

"I mean I turn by back on her for one minute and she's gone," I said. "She's no where to be found."

"You lost your own girlfriend?" asked Prentiss. "That's a new one."

"She's not my girlfriend," I said. "But if we don't find her, then both her and JJ could be dead."

"Morgan calm down, she's gotten herself out of a lot of jams before," said Garcia. "What's the worst that could happen?"

"We can do this without her," I said as I hang up. "I'm determined to find her even if it kills me."
