You were giddy with excitement when you had returned from your date. Removing your coat from your shoulders, you inform Clary and Izzy on how it went. With a smile on your face and eyes lit up like a Christmas tree, you describe to them in detail how kind and funny and smart he was. Isabelle rolls her eyes when you sigh dreamily, hands on her hips and the familiar feeling of envy bubbling up in her chest. You don't notice the bitter look on the brunette's face, and you were completely oblivious to the fact that she was jealous that you went on a date with someone that wasn't her.
