The sun was shining, there wasn't a cloud in the sky. It was the day that Autumn would finally see her friends again, after a month or two of not seeing them. Truth is, she felt more at home with the thought of seeing them, then at this orphanage.

Autumn went to the bathroom and brushed her hair and gazed in the mirror.

Her long brown hair cascading down her small body. Autumn wasn't too tall herself. This was very evident next to Ron, who was very tall. She had grey eyes that blended in with her pale skin. She doesn't go outside very often -- she spends most of her days spreading bleach across various objects that needed cleaned.

Autumn walked down the stairs, carrying her list, a small bag ready to be filled with Galleons, Sickles and Knuts for the school year, and her wand tucked in her boot. Autumn never left the Orphanage without it, scared that someone might take it, or she might lose it and not be able to go back to Hogwarts. She wanted to keep the magic with her as long as possible.

Autumn was about to make it out the door, when a hand held her back. "Where do you think you're going?" It was Vanessa and she looked

"I'm going out. Remember? I told you all to leave things for me to do so I can get them once I return."

"No, I mean like this year. Are you going back to that miserable school?"

"Of course I am, and it's not miserable, I'm learning more than I ever have before."

"What are you even learning?"

"More than what you can ever imagine."

Autumn waited in front of Gringotts, just like she and Hermione had planned. The sky was still shining brightly, but instead of a clear sky, there were wisps of clouds in the sky. After a minute or so of waiting, Autumn heard a voice call out, "Autumn!" She then felt a pair of hands wrap around her.

"Hermione!" Autumn cried out, instantly dropping everything in her hands to hug Hermione as well.

"How are you? How was your summer?" Hermione asked.

"It was good. How was yours? Schoolwork in the summer?"

"My summer was fairly boring. I did my summer work as soon as I got home, then spent the rest of my summer rereading textbooks."

"Oh God, I'm friends with a nerd," Autumn joked.

The both of them laughed.

"Oh, hello Mr. and Mrs. Granger. I'm Autumn Grey." Autumn held her hand out to the two adults.

The two shook her hand and responded, "Nice to meet you, Autumn."

Hermione and Autumn left her parents and stood in front of Gringotts trying to find Harry and Ron. Eventually, the two heard Hagrid's familiar voice, and Hermione ran down the flight of stairs, Autumn following her.

"Harry! Harry! Over here!" Hermione yelled.

"Oi! Harry!" Autumn yelled, getting Harry's attention.

Harry looked up to see the two girls running down the flight of stairs towards him. Autumn and Hermione ran towards him, and they immediately pulled Harry into a hug.

"What happened to your glasses? Hello, Hagrid -- Oh, it's wonderful to see you again.  Are you coming into Gringotts, Harry?" Hermione asked.

"You'll be all right now then, Harry?" Hagrid asked, towering over the three.

Harry nodded.

"Right. I'll leave you to it," Hagrid said, smiling at the four friends before he left.
