A scream rang through Autumn's ears. It wasn't from her dream, no, it couldn't have been. It was too high-pitched and youthful. Autumn frantically jumped up from her bed -- someone in the room screaming.

Autumn looked around the room, not even caring that her hair was whipping in her face. Her eyes landed on a figure next to Cayden. The figure made eye-contact with Autumn and immediately disappeared. Autumn sprinted towards Cayden, who shook uncontrollably. She was leaning against the wall behind her and the covers were off the bed.

"Hey, Cayden. Cayden. It's okay. Everything's okay. He's gone," Autumn comforted, quickly pulling her into a deep hug.

Cayden immediately started crying hysterically. Others began to wake up, looking at the two curiously.

Autumn kept cradling Cayden, not trying to ask her what happened. Of course, she was going to ask later because it was important, but her main priority was to get Cayden to feel safe.

Cameron hastily jogged towards the two, trying to figure out what happened. The expression on her face led Autumn to believe that Cameron was going to ask what happened, so Autumn quickly shook her head. Cameron nodded in response, turning towards the other girls. She gathered them into a small circle and spoke quietly enough for only those girls to hear.

Autumn kept a sniffling Cayden in her arms as she stood up and walked towards her bed; but instead of sitting at her bed, she opened the window next to it and sat on the roof outside, Cayden now curled up next to her. The air felt nice, especially at four in the morning in the summer. There was barely any wind and when the breeze blew around the two, it was comforting.

"Now," Autumn said quietly, her voice was hoarse because she hadn't spoken in a long time. "I like to come out here when I get upset or scared. I don't know what it is, but the scenery of the lights and stars is really calming to me. Because when I look at the stars," Autumn paused, taking a deep breath, "when I look at the stars, it reminds me that I'm apart of something bigger than I am. You are apart of something bigger than I am, Cayden. I just know it."

Cayden sniffed from beside Autumn. "He was really scary, Audy."

"I know," Autumn comforted. "You handled it really well by screaming. It woke everyone up."

"I'm really tired, Audy."

"I know." Autumn moved her arm around her and pulled Cayden into a hug, gently rubbing her arm so that Cayden could fall asleep.

The clouds completely covered the sky; there was no blue or sunlight visible in the sky -- which was okay for Autumn, she couldn't stand to leave on a beautiful day. That morning, Autumn would leave to Hogwarts. Cayden wouldn't talk much after the incident, all she did was write on scrap pieces of paper. Cameron believed it was normal after seeing someone hovering over her -- it was scary for everyone; but she also believed that Cayden would return talking shortly after Autumn left.

Autumn decided to make breakfast, just like she did last year at this time. She made eggs, toast, and cut some fruit. By the time she was done, it was almost time for her to wake the other girls. Autumn walked up the stairs, and ran into something -- or someone.

"Oof-" Autumn exclaimed, falling on her behind. She looked up to see a creature with big ears and eyes. It wore worn out cloth that looked as if it was once white, but now a toffee color.

"Sorry Ms. Grey! Dobby didn't mean to—"

"It's fine. Dobby was it?" Autumn said, carefully eyeing the creature. She hoped the creature was friendly, which it seemed to be.
