Not only had Umbridge have the nerve to name herself the High Inquisitor, she interviewed McGonagall in the same 24 hours on Tuesday. Roxanne had been practicing the Vanishing Spell McGonagall had been teaching the class when the pink toad had walked in, clearing her throat and looking around the classroom with her disgusting gloat. No one in the class even bothered to hide their displeasure; even McGonagall lost her temper once or twice.

Roxanne had nearly lost it when McGonagall told Umbridge off, Harry and Ron snickering in the desk in front of her as Hermione shook her head with a small smile on her face from beside Roxanne. The seating arrangement had not been her choice, but seeing as Charlie and her gossiped all class if they were beside each other, McGonagal had taken thigs into her own hands and seperated the two. Now, Charlie sat next to Lavender Brown, and often gave Roxanne's side glances whenever the obnoxious Gryffindor opened her mouth. So far, their least favourite fifth year was Lavender Brown.

After McGonagall's class, Roxanne found herself in another class being inspected by Umbridge; Care for Magical Creatures. Hagrid was still absent, so Professor Grubbly-Plank had filled in for him and been quite an excellent substitue. However, Roxanne would always prefer Hagrid.

He had always been so kind to her before the incident, telling her she was ahead of her time when it came to spellwork. He would also invite her to tea on Sundays and tell her all the teacher's gossip if she bothered him enough even though she was sure he wanted to tell her what was going on. In the end, he was easily one of her favourite teachers.

As Umbridge made her way around the class, she stopped at the Slytherins, Roxanne sure they were up to no good as the toad asked them if there had been any injuries in the class.

"That was me," Malfoy had said, "I was slashed by a hippogriff."

Roxanne had heard stories about his infamous injury in his third year. Apparently the hippogriff, Buckbeak had slashed his arm open during a class because Hagrid didn't have him on a tight enough leash. But Roxanne knew that wasn't true. Hagrid had told her that Malfoy had gone up in an angry manner and didn't bow, insulting the hippogriff. Long story short, Malfoy deserved it.

"Only because he was too stupid to listen to what Hagrid told him to do," Harry had spoke angrily. Hermione, Ron, and Charlie had all groaned in a chorus, but Roxanne had raised her eyebrow and looked to Umbridge to see how she'd respond. Another night's detention was given to Harry, and Roxanne being herself had rolled her eyes and glared at the woman until she had turned around to look at her.

"Yes?" Umbridge had hummed expectantly. This time, Roxanne had said nothing, dismissing Umbridge with a flick of her hand. The brunette had turned on her heel to go do her work when Umbridge told her she had acquired another night of detention as well.

So, as the Saturday that Quidditch practice was scheduled dawned on her, she got dressed in her practice uniform and headed down to breakfast. Her hand was raw from the full week of detentions with Umbridge, and the thought of her even moving it was enough to send her into a gasp of pain.

She had sit down next to Harry per usual, both sending each other small smiles before going about their own business. Charlie was sitting happily as he scribbled on a piece of parchmnet, probably headed towards his family or muggle friends he used to go to school with. He always wrote to them once a month, telling them about what he's done or how many times he'd saved Roxanne from gettig in trouble.

"You're on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team?" Ron asked.

"No, I just wear the uniform for the kick of it. Yes, Won Won, I'm on the team," Roxanne mocked him, her smirk growing as she saw the frustration on his face grow. Heels clicked behind her, and much to her loathing, Umbridge had walked up so she was right behind Roxanne, a forced smile on her lips as she looked at the group.
