Our Home.
How can I explain it?... How can I put it into words where you people will understand?... I don't think you could possibly comprehend what we went through, what we had to give up. All the loss, pain, and suffering... We had no control over what we could not take on. Here we are. Our souls left broken, shattered, torn, ripped away from our bodies and no is longer on this earth for it is down in hell for what sins were forced upon us. Our bruised and battered bodies now be here limp and dead. We may stand in front of you, but our eyes no longer see light, only black, white, and grey. Our lips only tell what we can put into words, no longer smiling for there is no reason for us to. Our minds broken and shattered, pieces of our happiness and sanity lost in the winds and rubble of where we stood up on mountains and mountains of bodies. The only sound we hear is the feeble cries of our friends and families, being ripped away from us and thrown into torments and deaths we cannot speak of. We can smell only of the blood on our hands, salty and sharp, overflowing our senses of sanity and replacing it with madness. And emotions other than dull pain no longer we feel. The deep hole torn, bruised, and gutted its way into us and left nothing but a sad and pitiful mess of nothingness.
You can never possibly comprehend what we went through and what we had to give up. You could never feel what we felt. And you could never know the loss of not only others, but the loss of yourself...
Let me take you back before where we stand now. Before we had lost our sanity. Before what you called 'a tragedy beyond compare'. Before the rebels formed. And before the war started... Right when you made the law stating all people with the brand of a Sparrow shall be killed for treason.
Yes. Let's start there... But let me warn you: there is no happy ending...
It was a beautiful morning... little did we know that hell would fall upon us. It was the day it dawned upon us; we had to fight for Our Home.
