ALL THE WORLD'S A STAGE, AND ALL MEN AND WOMEN MERELY PLAYERS
- William Shakespeare, As You Like it
Thirteen years ago, the wizarding world was introduced to Harry and Haylee Potter, the famous twins who survived the infamous killing curse as infants and vanquished You-Know-Who, this beginning a new era of peace and prosperity. But this accomplishment came at a price for the Potter Twins, who were orphaned at age one. Their parents, Lily and James Potter (aged twenty-one) were murdered by the Dark Lord whilst trying to protect their children.
The Potters were just one of many families torn apart during the First Wizarding War, though their sacrifice especially was one we never forgot. A statue of this young family still stands tall in Godric's Hollow, permanently marking their sacrifice, and the ruins of their old house have been left untouched, marked only by a sign that describes the horrors that occurred in that house on Halloween night almost fourteen years ago.
For many decades, there has been the talk of raising the dead using magic, and for years we've only had myths and children's tales to support such a theory. Until now.
Almost one year ago, before the Quidditch World Cup took place, James Fleamont Potter arose from his thirteen-year long death. For a year, Albus Dumbledore, headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, kept this extraordinary feat a secret, telling only Harry and Haylee and those who were closest to James. And although we can assume that Dumbledore had every intention of eventually making this shock revival public, it was a pure accident that the world ever had to find out about it.
After extensive testing from both Albus Dumbledore and the Ministry of Magic, we can confirm that this man is indeed the real James Potter, resurrected after thirteen years for reasons unbeknownst to us. Authorities do not have any real inkling of how this miracle came to be, though the use of Veritaserum has helped to sway the skeptics within the Ministry of Magic.
The Daily Prophet was lucky enough to speak to Mr. James Potter as he was leaving the Ministry of Magic, alongside his lifelong friend Remus Lupin. Still as youthful as the day he died, James happily agreed to answer some of our most pressing questions.
"I can't tell you how any of this happened, because I don't even know," Potter said, upon being asked about how this situation came to be. "I don't know where things will go from here. All I do know is that I'm going to concentrate on being there for my kids now that I'm back."
When asked about the rumours surrounding the sanity of his children, Harry and Haylee, Mr Potter preferred to make no comment and left soon after in the company of Lupin.
In this time of confusion and shock, the Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge, has made an exclusive statement to The Daily Prophet.
"In the light of these confusing and shocking events, I urge every single one of you to remain calm. And ask that you all remember that this miraculous resurrection of James Potter is in no way affiliated with the recent shock events of the Quidditch World Cup and the Triwizard Tournament."'
The Twins Who Lived are reportedly still staying with their Muggle relatives, for reasons James would not reveal to us. All we can do now is hope that these troubled teens find some solace with the return of their long-lost father, and assume that James can defer his children from a life of rule breaking and lies.
If anyone can help Harry and Haylee, whose behaviors are growing more reckless, wild and irresponsible with every passing week, it is James Potter, the Man Who Lived.

Hey guys, sorry that this epilogue is so short! but it is in the format of a news article, and those aren't typically too long, so yeah :)
In case anyone is wondering why the Prophet is being so chill about all of this, especially knowing how vicious they become in the next book, it's because Fudge and the Ministry physically cannot deny that James has returned. There's too much evidence supporting it, so they're forced to accept it. But I did make sure that this article thing was attacking Harry and Haylee a little bit, so it's not such a big jump to everything that happens in the next book (I hope that made sense)
But yeah, this book is finished! I don't know when the next book will be up, but as usual, I'll let you all know :)
Please remember to vote, comment and follow and I'll see you all in the Order of the Phoenix
