A/n: Thank you The_Cartoon_Queen for submitting this story. Now lets just hope I dont mess it up lel.

"It's finally finished!" (Y/n) said after putting one last spring on the contraption. "Now I can submit it to the local toy company."

'Uh oh...' (Y/n) thought. 'I still havent tested it! I cant submit it yet!' She pondered a little longer until she grabbed her coat and headed out to grab her four best friends.

I arrived at Alexanders house and was greeted by Hercules. Thats right... its Saturday. So they should all be here. I realized.

"Hey Herc! I assume everyone is with you?" Hercules nodded. "They're all in the living room. C'mon in!"

I stumbled into the house and peeked across the corner of the hallway. The guys were making forts out of pillows, blankets, and an old mattress. "Hey, (Y/n)!" Alexander greeted.

I waved at him and the others. Sitting down, I asked them "Would you guys mind to come back to my place? I just finished making my-" Laurens cut me off. "Your TRAMPoline?" Him and Lafayette heckled.

"Ha ha, very funny you two. Of course we will come to your place. Besides, I'd love to see the finished product." Alexander defended. "Well, almost finished. I need you guys to help me test it."

Lafayette jumped up. "We would be more than happy to help you out, mi amour. Lets go gang!" Kinda sudden, but alright. They put their coats on and we headed to my house.

We arrived and I unlocked the door to the house. I brought them to my work room, and they were all in awe. "(Y/n), you did all of this?" Alexander questioned.

"Yup. Took me about six months to finish it." I answered. Laurens looked at the contraption, then back at me for clearance.
"Go right ahead, just be careful-"

And just like that, Laurens, Lafayette, and Mulligan jumped onto the trampoline. They seemed to be having fun, that is, until mulligan pushed Lafayette off.

They started fighting, but I was too occupied on Hamilton looking at my work. "This is very impressive. What are you planning to do with it?"

"Im wanting to present it to the local toy company and produce it for children. Or, y'know, people like you weirdos." Alex laughed and examined the paper a little closer.

"Y'know, I can help you with this. If you want me to, that is... I can write a letter we can take to the company. It will seem more professional."

"Thanks Alex. I dont know what I'd do without you." I said as I brought him into a warm embrace. He froze up for a second, but quickly wrapped his arms around me.

The others noticed this, and our small hug soon became a huge bear hug. "How is it? Is there anything that needs tweaking?" I asked them.

"Not from what we can tell. It's pretty sturdy and bouncy. Good job on it, gentille fille." Lafayette praised. I giggled.

From that point, everyone kinda just stayed at my house. We were all having fun, but Alexander was ignoring Lafayette a bit. Laf brushed it off, but I wouldnt.

It seemed everyone was having fun but Alex. He just kept writing stuff down a notebook. I tried to peek over his sholder, but he wouldn't let me. I was getting pretty annoyed. Was he mad at me and Laf? What did we do?

We started settling down and I provided everyone a blanket. Lafayette slept next to Hercules and Laurens on the floor, I slept on the couch, and Alex... didn't sleep.

I woke up around two in the morning, only to find him still writing.

"Alex... please go to sleep. I dont want you to be drowsy later." I pleaded sluggishly. He got up and shuffled towards me. "Shh... I'll go to sleep soon. Dont worry about me. I want you to sleep. You have a long day tomorrow. Trust me."

I didn't understand what he meant by that, but I didn't question it. I dozed off, only hearing the soft mumbles emitting from him.

Hamiltons POV:
Oh. My. God. Was I too straight forward with her? What if she knows I like her? What if she doesnt like me!?

Chill, Hamilton... Chill..

There is the possibility that she knows, but, she might also be oblivious? No. She's too smart..

(Y/n) started waking up, and I panicked a little. "Alex... please go to sleep." She said. I could hear how tired she was in her tone. She must've worked herself to the bone with this project. I can'tlet her be awake because of me.

"Shh... I'll go to sleep soon. Dont worry about me. I want you to sleep. You have a long day tomorrow. Trust me." I reassured her. She started drifting off.

Im not sure why. But I started mumbling words to her. As if we were together. She's so smart and talented. You dont find many girls like her. Not to mention how beautiful she is.

Ugh. Im a huge creep.

I kept writing the letter to the company. The more I wrote, the more it started to sound like I was begging them to take her invention. I clawed at my head, trying to sound more professional.

"Wait.. I have an idea." I said to myself. I crumpled up the paper and threw it away. I'd have to wait 'till later to go through with my plan. So I started writing random things in my journal. Most of which was of reasons why slavery should be abolished, and the others were of possible reasons why (Y/n) may not like me.

Im to paranoid...

Your POV:
I woke up only to be greeted by a drowsy Laurens. "Where is everyone?" I asked. John looked out the window and sighed. "Coming back, hopefully." I didn't understand, but he wouldn't answer me if I asked anyways.

Loud footsteps were emitting from outside, and a knock was supplied with it soon after.  Half asleep, I stumbled to the door. John offered to open it, but he seemed more tired than me.

I threw open the door and there stood Lafayette, Alexander, and Hercules. "There you guys are! Where have you been?" Alex quickly brought me into an embrace and so did the others. I was very confused. Just then, Alex pulled up a paper.

Dear (Y/n),

We thank you profusely for pitching your extraordinary invention to us. We understand you couldn't make it this morning to our headquarters, but we hope to see you soon.

Sincerely, Toy Co.

I couldnt believe my eyes. "Did you guys go through all this trouble to pitch my invention?" I questioned them. "Well, it was all Hamilton's idea." Hercules added. A faint blush grew across Alex's cheeks as he grabbed my hand. He led me outside and the others followed.

He stopped in front of the town square. I didn't know why until I noticed what was lying right next to the town fountain. It was my invention. Kids were playing on it and they were having fun.

I felt my heart melt at the sight. I just the realized that Alex was still holding my hand. I was so grateful towards him, that I wrapped my arms around his.  He tensed up, but tried to relax.

"Thanks Hammy." I said. He hugged me and stated, "No need to thank me. You did this on your own.  I simply only helped with the execution." He sqeezed a little bit, which just made the hug warmer.

"I love you, (Y/n)." Alex said calmly.

I felt so happy, only hearing those words made me happier.

"I love you too, Alexander."
