"I think I know who it can be." Brett says looking down at me. We are seated in the dining area. My eyes glued to the magnificent view. "Who can it be?" I bite my lower lip. "It can be one of the employees I fired not so long ago, or a crazy ex." He says looking at me. He's worried and I can tell. I can't help, but laugh. This isn't the right time to be laughing. He stares at me. "Look, what exactly happened? Tell me everything." He stares at me, hard. He's not to be played with at the moment. "I was going to go get some stuff for the cake and all of a sudden..." I stop. Brett continues to stare at me, waiting. "I felt like I was being watch and I was." I bite my lip. Why am I nervous? Perhaps the guy is nuts and I'm just overreacting. I'm known for always overreacting. Brett continues to stare at me and he knows I'm not finished. "I saw him staring from the second floor of this apartment building and he followed me to the store. I asked him if there was a problem and he just stared at me. After five seconds he just turned around and walked out the store. Brett, I think I'm overreacting. I'm sorry." I say looking down at my hands. "No you're not. Come." He stands and holds out his hand. I stand and make my way to him. He's trembling and my heart sinks. This is bad, really bad. We make our way to his room and he stands in front of the drawers. He drops to his knees and pulls open the last drawer. He pulls out a picture frame and stands. "Be honest with me, Justin." He says, looking down at me. He's worried about something and it's bothering me. "What is it?" I continue to bite my lip. This situation is serious and I can feel it. "Is this the man?" He hands me the picture frame and my heart sinks. "That's him," I whisper.
