"The wars over John, you can go home now", said steve,"Yeah we do, and now my mother will pund me for not protecting William", I hopped onto the truck and we were off for the French coast, I tried to get some sleep but the truck would hit bumps and waiting for parades to pass over the roads, we passed the pub where william seemed to escape to, As we started nearing the coast, the rain bucketed down, eventually we arrived at the seaport and i got onboard the SS Hillingdon, And we were off to Ireland,

7 DAYS LATER

I was passing through town and nearing my house, the same pubs we got into fights at were still looking like a lost fart in a snow storm, i started nearing my first school and the place i would always go to kiss all the girls, then everybody i had ever met stared at me like i was a ghost, My old tutor looked at me and my friends walked straight past me and recognised me, then i came to my homesteads door. I walked in and there was my mother and sister, "Honour the dead, fight like hell for the living"i said, my mother and sister shot up,"JOHNATHAN!"my mother was crying her heart out as she hugged me and my sister did so aswell. "Wheres William my son?" Asked my mother,"He, he was right there and then.....he was gone"my mother wailed and hugged me again,"Its alright mama, im here, its okay"

This is dedicated to all the men who died in the service to their countries, And to my Great grandfather and his 3 brothers,
Jonathan Connolly was my Great Grandfather but i added a little to his story of fighting

Not all this is true, my great grandfather did indeed lose his brother william to a staffe run and his grave is located in Western Cork

Thanks to the help of Taylor7685 for helping me with this story
