Kayla POV
I stood outside the door, my bag slung over my Shoulder I was still crying, how could I not be? I just told my biggest secret, my biggest fear and my own mother practically disowned me just five minutes ago. Well, I best get going before she screams again. I sigh and walk off.
The start of a new life, yet I have no idea what I'm doing. Where should I go? What am I going to eat? Did I bring money? Should I still go to school?3rd person
Later Kayla decided she would still go to school, and she found what little money she had in her pocket and bought some apples, she was now wandering around, looking for somewhere to sleep that night. Eventually after walking around for around 3 hours she found something like an abandoned shop with a small hole in the metal, only small enough for her to fit, though.
She crept in and saw that the place really was abandoned, everything was covered in plastic and a thick blanket of dust had settled on top. She picked a small corner of the shop to sleep in, after uncovering it from the plastic, noticed the floor was pearly white and gold in some places.
After having an apple she was getting ready for 'bed', floors are comfy, right? 'I'll be fine' she thought to herself. She closed her eyes and slowly but surely, weights pulled at her eyelids, pulling them closed, and she began to slip into a dreamless sleep. The next morning, early
Kayla had woken up to a tickle at her nose, she opened her eyes to find, not a rat, but a tiny black mouse.
"Hello, little one" she greeted the small creature, it squeaked back.
"Guess your my only friend here, huh?" It squeaked gently at her again. "Would you like some food?" She asked it, digging through her backpack she pulled out her apple core from the night before.
"Here, it's not much but its all I have right now" she put the core in the animals tiny paws (hands?) And it squeaked in gratitude and started nibbling the apple core.
"Well, sorry little friend but I have to get going for school" she checked her black wristwatch it read 8:26 AM "oh crap! I better get going" she scrabbled around picking up her bag and shoes.
"See you later little..." She was thinking what to call her little friend "...I think I'll call you...shadow, bye shadow!" She called, crawling out of the gap and sprinting in the direction of her school.Kayla POV
When I got to school it was 8:39 I had less than a minute to run to my first class, English.
When I got to my classroom it was 8:46, I burst through the door, all eyes where on me.
"Kayla, its nice to see you've finally decided to join us" my English teacher said in a joking manner.
"Good morning Mr. Macy" (may-see) I greeted him.
"Good morning Kayla, please take your seat and get out your book"
I went to my desk and pulled out my book, Percy Jackson and the last Olympian, and started reading.'Hi there, its Kayla kinda breaking the 4th wall here but I thought now would be a great time to tell you a bit about me, firstly I have striking red her and piercing green eyes as some people say, I'm quite small and love reading. I don't have many close friends apart from my girlfriend, Nathalie, and my best friend who is called Katherine. Me and Katherine have been friends since I can remember, we look alike so most people think we are sisters and I don't blame them I mean, we act like we are we look like we are and we talk like we are, so its a very easy mistake to make. Anyway if there is anymore questions ask the author, Phantom, in the comment section, bye'
